Answer:	Retinol should only be applied at night, so no need to layer it with sunscreen. Daily sunscreen use is essential when using retinol.

Answer:	I always follow with a moisturizer!! The serum is just a treatment. If it's daytime, I make sure that my moisturizer has at least SPF 30...But I always have a facial sunscreen with me in my purse. I use the Neutrogena spf 110 on top of my serum and moisturizer. It's very important to limit the amount of sun you get exposed to when you are using serums like this Retinol. It can also dry out your skin at first , so please don't skip that moisturizer.
