Question:	Can this be compressed? Some of the reviews said it is like seat cushion foam
Answer:	It is like seat cushion foam...it will compress but springs back when released.
Question:	Does the fibers get felted to the foam? I have a clover but want a bigger work surface
Answer:	They do but I have tried other brands and they all seem to have fibers get felted to the foam. This one is easy to clean but I do get some fibers felted to the surface. I just pick and pull them out.
Question:	is this simalur to floral foam? can you cut or carve it with a knife? Thanks
Answer:	Not like floral foam. It is less dense and very much thicker than I thought it would be. Wool sticks to it but peels up easily. You can cut it - I used a knife.
Question:	Is there a 1" version of this, with the other dimensions staying the same
Answer:	I would prefer 2 inch.

In a nutshell, it's the process of transforming wool into 3D objects using a barbed needle.

When you felt wool, you're agitating the fibers so they bond together, creating a solid fabric. If you've ever felted any of your knitting projects, you're already familiar with the process — except that you probably used a washing machine with really hot water to get the fibers to bond. Needle felting mimics that process, but instead of agitating the wool with hot water, you're doing it with an extra-sharp needle.

What You Need

Needle felting is usually done with a kind of wool called roving, but you can also use wool in other forms, like batting.

The needle you'll use for felting has sharp, barbed blades designed to agitate the wool fibers.

You'll need a special felting surface to avoid poking your fingers, legs or other body parts. Sponges and foam pads work well for needle felting. Just make sure your surface is thick

Answer:	I believe it's indoor only. Not sure as I returned the item. It was originally described as having hand carved wooden blades. However, the fan blades are made of cheap plastic. I noticed the description has been modified since then.
