Answer:	Do yourself a favor and buy some Saniderm (no I’m not a salesman for them). After the first 24 hours of having the initial covering on- remove the covering, wash with soap (antibacterial shouldn’t be needed) then let it dry for a bit, maybe an hour or so. Once dry apply Saniderm bandage to your tattoo. Leave it on for at least five days- longer if you can (the longer the better). Carefully peel the bandage after you’ve waited that long in shower using hot water to loosen the Saniderm. At this point apply Hustle Butter religiously for the next two weeks and your tattoo will look amazing.

Answer:	It’s like plastic wrap but to cover your new tattoo.

Answer:	I absolutely apply a very very thin layer of Aquaphor before I put it on. Directions say to apply to dry tattoo but I have experienced it personally and seen cases where when you remove the tatu-derm it rips off the tattoo. I have been using the stuff religiously for 10 years and this is the best way I have found it works. 1. Clean it very well with antibacterial perfume free soap. 2. Let air dry 10 to 15 minutes 3. Apply thin layer of Aquaphor only on ink. Try and leave skin with no ink on it dry so Tatu-derm can stick to it. Make sure all corners are without air bubbles and leave it on for 24 hours. Slowly take off in shower then repeat the process for 4 days. On day 5 only apply Aquaphor. No lotions nothing with perfumes in it

Answer:	Absolutely not. 24 hours at the most. Tatu-derm does allow your skin to breath but not 100% so after 24 hours take it off, let it breath for a bit. Then put on just a very tiny bit of aquaphor on the ink only, try and and keep it off the bare skin (Tatu-derm will stick better) then put more derm for another 24 hours. Do this for 3-4 days. By then a layer of skin will have grown over and just keep it moist and you'll be heal 100% perfectly.

Answer:	It really depends on the size of the tattoos that you have and how well you apply the product. I got the big roll and I used two 12 inch segments to cover my new thigh tattoos and there is still a ton of product left for more projects!

Answer:	Aquaphor is like a Vaseline or petroleum. My tattoo artist actually told me to avoid stuff like that because it's so thick. This salve users coconut oil which uses your body heat to glide easily over your soon. Coconut oil is also good for preventing infection (along with the tea tree oil). Aquaphor is cheaper and you could use it after your tattoo heals to keep it looking awesome, but I wouldn't use it during the healing.

Answer:	The 1oz should be fine if you plan to use just during the healing phase. My newest one is on one side of my forearm, my husband got one on his forearm and we’re both using the 1oz. However, I notice my inked arm is so much smoother than the other using this, so if you plan to continue using after it’s healed, I’d opt for the larger amount.

Answer:	Dear Customer, normally the first film application should stay in place for 24 hours, depending on the level of exudation. It is normal for blood and fluids to collect under the bandage A second application can be used for several days, and a third application may be used if necessary. Gently clean and dry the area between applications. Do not wear any piece longer than one week
Question:	Once this is opened, how long till it expires? I got a small sample from my tattoo artist, but I'm not sure it'll be enough
Answer:	Not at all. This stuff is a game changer for tattoo care. I'm Almost most 40 and it takes a week to heal completely. Pro tip: remove it in the shower and remove it slowly, since you have no hair because the artist shaved the tattooed area first there's no pian in removing the film. Don't get scared when you do remove the film and see some of the ink on the film it's normal, that's the ink that never set in the dermis "skin". This is by far the best stuff I've ever used for tattoo care. I find sleeping is the best part. No more waking up to my sheets stuck to my fresh tattoo that I just spent a load of money on. I wish I knew about this 15 years ago when first started getting tattooed.
