It is virtually colorless, it's very matte, a slight creamy ivory vanilla hue, "a lightener/blender" onto your finished makeup. The middle is a wonderful neutral plum tone, it's not purple, more brown, its not blue base, it's not warm, not yellow base. The middle I use for light contouring and or for blending the bottom color. The middle color too, I use to fill in my eyebrows before adding darker tones to make them stand out " more" My eyebrows are dark brown, the middle color gives them weight, I love it. I use middle color as a guide when adding more color. The bottom is quite deep, high pigment, it has a coffee hue. The top two allow you to contour and blend if using the bottom shade straight. as a heavy contour. I have bought 2 of these, I will continue to buy. I am light to medium olive skin.
