Answer:	Since it attaches to the outside or frame it seems to me that it would not fit lengthwise, big gap on the bottom. The width is variable if used on a wide patio door as I have it. If you have a fixed frame of 32" wide, then that would present a problem too.

Answer:	You don't want to cut it off. The weight of the bottom seam balances the screen and allows it to close itself with the pull of the magnets. They make them in multiple sizes, choose the closest size and then mount it up higher above the door frame to adjust the height. You don't want it dragging in the ground or it won't close either. But you don't want gaps that bugs can get through!

Answer:	This screen is designed for standard exterior doors, and most sliding doors have a larger openings. This will most likely not work for your application.

Answer:	They must. I am a physician and I see many patients with contact dermatitis from nickel. Any metallic looking object in household objects has nickel: door knobs, belt buckles, straps etc. But the nickel object must be touching the skin continuously with sweat and moisture to cause a skin allergic reaction. I have never seen contact dermatitis from shaving blades . But anything is possible in life. Forgive the long response.
