The protective comb is a bit shorter than the venus so you have to back off just a bit and don't apply pressure. It's really small so you have to go slower, but the precision is incredible and you can get in the areas that I never could with the Venus. I even did a quick armpit touch up with a little more pressure there to make sure I can get closer shave if I want and this little gem is going in my purse now. It's all that.
