Question:	Hi, i really love what the beard softener can do but do i need to buy the beard oil as well since i think the softener does what the oil should do
Answer:	Both the oil and the cream soften the beard hair. The goal is the same - the texture and ingredients are different. Your choice. I prefer cream or butter than oil. Optional use both but is not necessary. The cream gives some shape compared to the oil.

Question:	What do you think of the smell of the gold scent
Answer:	I'm not a huge fan. Gold to me makes my beard smell like I'm a smoker, and the barber just spritzed some of that post haircut barbershop aftershave on me. I'm a fan of the gel itself, but am really struggling to get another scented version -given the aggressive profile instead of the unscented. To their credit, at least that's an option now.

Answer:	The bottle is plastic

Answer:	Not really for hold. It's more of moisturizer and leave in conditioner. Similar to beard balm from a tin but easier to put use.
Question:	What exactly does it smell like if you can describe it
Answer:	Maybe it varies from batch to batch, but I personally think it has a distinct (subtle) smell of cedar oil. My wife uses cedar essential oil and it smells just like that. I don't think it smells like patchouli at all. Definitely a woodsy smell. Definitely not strong or perfumey. Think hipster.
