Question:	continued question - now am afraid to use, because of change in ingredients. What gives
Answer:	Ok...I used it for like 4 months with no problem. Cut my beard off and started growing it back and used it again........crazy itching, small blisters...awful..I never did the test on the arm though. All I can say is I thought it was great until the last time I used it. It was two weeks of pain, couldn't sleep it itched so bad. The skin was red and small little blisters that scabbed. I'd say use the test first for sure. I used it first in October of 2013 and then again in March of 2014 if that helps. Not sure if anything changed in the formula in that time. Just be careful and do the test on your arm. Personally I'll never use it again.

Answer:	You can dye short stubble, but (1) the results are not very spectacular because the hairs are so short, and (2) since only the surfaced part of the hair is dyed, it turns back to grey in only a few days.If you rinse really thoroughly, your skin will probably be OK, but you can easily get an uncomfortable burn if you get in a hurry and don't rinse well, with lots of water and some shampoo.

Answer:	Facial burns? I have no such experience, in fact I keep it on a little longer than the manufacture recommended time because I realise that when I do so it keeps the colour longer.Well,now am wearing my greys and I feel good about it -no longer pretending.

Question:	Do you have to use his daily? How long does the color last when you reach your desired shade
Answer:	Frequency of use depends on your level of gray and how much you want to darken it. Personally, once I reached the color I wanted, I only use it once or twice a week now. I have medium-dark brown hair and probably 70% gray. This stuff works great for me. The color basically is permanent. It will last until you cut off the dyed hair. When you cut your hair, you will expose new roots at the bottom which are white or hair that is lighter in color because they haven't been dyed as many times. I cut my own hair and beard every week. Some weeks I can get away with one application and some weeks it may take a second application to get it back to where I want it.
Question:	does this work for gray stubble like 3-4 days without shaving or will it dye the skin too
Answer:	I've found that the Control GX beard wash works best with a beard length of at least a 1/2" up to maybe 1 1/2". At that length, it has something to cling to and the more fluid shampoo really gets into the beard in a way the 2 part mix and brush-in product can't. But, for stubble the thicker 2 part product with the color gel and developer gel and brush will cling to the short hair much better. The only problem at that point is that average facial hair growth rates are around 1/8" per week. And that new hair is gonna be whatever color you have naturally. If you trim to maintain a certain stubble length, you'll be back to white in a week.
Question:	No matter how i shake, the end of the tube is alway just dark brown (beige out of a new tube). is this going to work the same
Answer:	I've been using Control GX for a couple of years. This product uses a chemical reaction that depends on oxygen to activate the dye. Sealed up in the tube it's a beige color. Once you squeeze it out and apply, it begins to react with the oxygen in the air and darken over the course of 5-10 minutes. You'll even notice a further small amount of color change over the 24 hours after you've rinsed it out and dried your hair as oxygen continues to react with the dye bonded to your hair. The key to minimize the color change in the tube is to minimize the exposure to oxygen while it is stored for weeks while you use it. If you are using it say 4 times per week you may go through a tube in a couple of weeks and that will limit the amount of time it will sit in the tube reacting to oxygen. Personally, I have a medium brown natural hair color. After getting my hair color where I wanted it, I only use Control GX once or twice a week to maintain the look I want. So a tube will last me 4-6 weeks. In that time, it will oxidize and turn partially black. But there is something you can do to minimize that. When you finishing applying and you're waiting for the dye to work, go back and pop open the tube then squeeze it so that the goop inside is just about to come out. Now close the cover and make sure it snaps shut. That will expel 99% of the oxygen from the now partially empty tube and seal it as well as possible. Store it standing up vertically so the stuff inside forms a seal against the top (bottom when stored). If you don't do this, all that space inside the tube that used to be filled with Control GX ends up filled with oxygen and the chemical reaction will take place. With that said, I use it whether or not is is oxidized and it still seems to have an effect even if it is partially oxidized.
Question:	Does this beard gx shampoo work better for brown or black tones of hair
Answer:	It works best with light brown to medium brown hair. You'll need to use it more often and leave it in longer to reach a black color. Also, there's more contrast between your gray or white hair and your black hair than someone with medium brown hair. The Control GX will tone down that contrast a lot even if you don't get it all the way to black. And don't forget that this product isn't meant to produce a uniformly colored head of hair. It's meant to leave some gray to make it look more natural.

Answer:	Dear Andrew: ​Thank you for writing and for your informed inquiry. Our hair and beard color is classified as permanent, which, according to industry standards, is 6 weeks. By that time, roots are coming in, so it's high time to re-apply. And, depending on how often you shampoo and whether you use a color protecting product for that, you will have some fading along the way, but in what we describe as a natural and appropriate manner. We do insist that you perform a patch test to ensure that you don't have any unwelcome skin irritation or allergic reaction. After 48 hours, with no problems, then apply as described in the directions. Avoid chlorinated water if you don't want it all to "lift" after your swim. ​We hope this helps?

Question:	The deep brown came out too dark for my liking. can i re-dye it a shade lighter
Answer:	Dear Glenn--Thank you for asking. We would recommend that you wash your hair using warm/hot water a couple or three times, as each wash cycle will remove some of the color that has deposited.
