Answer:	The suction cups stick under water. I, do take it out of the tub and wash it with soap and water. I use a towel and dry some of the water out and let it dry before I put it back in the tub. Answer:	I haven’t tried it in a hot tub but I use pretty warm water in the tub with it and bath salts plus the soaps, shampoo and conditioner. It comes with a bag for laundering it and they recommend weekly washing. I think it would be fine.
