Dr. Washington Wentworth Sheffield was a well respected dentist and dental surgeon from New London, Connecticut. In 1850, he created a new tooth cleaning product called toothpaste, replacing the tooth powders that were common at that time. His only problem was "what to put it in"?

Along came Dr. Lucius T. Sheffield, Dr. Sheffields son. Lucius was studying in Paris when he came upon parisian artists preparing their paint palettes. Question:	Is the toothpaste tube recyclable
Answer:	I think this product maintains whiteness and prevents stains but I haven't noticed any major whitening effects. I still use it thought, I think its a great toothpaste free from nasty chemicals. I drink lots of coffee and this prevents discoloration.
