After every time I brush my teeth, I take my hand towel (a little damp), and remove the toothbrush head, wipe that off, and I also I wipe off the handle itself as well as the metal bar at the very top that the toothbrush clicks on to. It may seem tedious, but it literally takes me less than 60 seconds and I do think it’s good practice and helps prevent any sort of build up/accumulation.

Question:	does it have a li-ion battery
Answer:	yes it does
Question:	can you use the 8000 for just brushing your teeth without using the app on the phone
Answer:	You can, but if you do, you're wasting your money. There are cheaper Oral-B toothbrushes than the 8000 that have essentially the same features minus the Bluetooth and app. I've been using the Oral-B products for about 10 years, and other than those features, being black, and having a much better travel case, it's essentially the same toothbrush I bought over 10 years ago. Same brush heads, same buttons, same charger. The older ones come with a physical clock/timer, however, which you don't get with this model. That said, I'm really impressed with the app overall, minus one major gripe (it resets the the timer when you change modes!), and it's helping me to improve my oral care quite a lot. There's also a "Fun Zone" feature to help kids develop better brushing habits, though I've never used it and don't plan to.
Question:	Does it shut off after 2 mins
Answer:	It vibrates once every 30 seconds and 3 times at the 2 minute mark but it does not shut off. My routine is outer left(vibrate) inner left(vibrate) outer right(vibrate) then inner right(((vibrate)))

Answer:	I just received the Oral B 8000 and there are 2 ways to charge this unit:1. The included standing charger (white colored) does NOT support 220v/2240v - it states support for only 110-130v and 50-60Hz.2. There is a second way to charge this unit using the travel case. The travel case can be used with the included power adapter that is a half circle with 2 holes (the entire adapter cord is black colored - I initially missed it). So while the standing charger will not work internationally, the included travel case and included travel case power case adapter WILL support 220v/240v and can be used internationally with an adapter (no transformer needed).

Answer:	yes, provided they are properly taught how to use it. It does have a pressure sensor built in. If too much pressure is used, brush head will stop until pressure is lessened.

Question:	Is this a good head for braces
Answer:	I am a little unsure of the exact question you are asking! Two of these toothbrushes were ordered at different times. Both of them came wrapped in the box extremely well. As for being wrapped outside of the box, I don't understand? The packaging was excellent and I was extremely happy with everything. If you need any additional information regarding the wrapping, please do not hesitate to reword your question, and resend it. I will try to answer anything you need to know. This toothbrush was 10 times faster than the other Oral B that we had, hence the reason why I just went ahead and purchase my husband his own instead of sharing my charger. It is really great!!!
