Question:	Is there a charging base for this model? How does it charge
Answer:	Make sure you charge it fully before the first use which can take 24 - 48 hours. This will extend the life of the battery.
Question:	How do you know "Easy Start" mode is actually activated? I just got mine and it seems WAY too powerful to be in easy mode
Answer:	I believe in the instructions it mentioned that out of the box it's in easy mode. That's the default. In the 1st 14 days it's supposed to gradually increase to the max power. To bypass the 14 days you press and hold the power button a few seconds. That's supposed to put you in max mode right away. I know the instructions also had a brief description how to go back to easy mode but I've just had mine on max since the beginning. You may have unknowingly put in max mode but it should be fairly easy to put back in easy mode.
Question:	Does the NiMH battery work as well in this as the lithium battery in the pricier models? Is it as powerful as the lithium
Answer:	I've owned 4 Phillips sonic cares over my lifetime. My first two I left the brush in on the charger as a holder , & The battery didn't last as long as when I don't. . I learned my lesson after the first two. I found that when I did not leave the toothbrush on the charger all the time it lasted for years longer, (6! Years!) than when I did store it on the charger plugged in. What I do now is , I charge it Fully after the green light goes all the way down, & that seems to make it last!
Question:	Is this better than oral-b 7000? I just bought it for $115? And I'm not sure should I return it buy this or not
Answer:	My belief is yes. I usually purchase a 12 pack of brushes at a time. This electric toothbrush vibrates at a higher frequency and seems to be much better at whitening teeth when used with a whitening toothpaste. I would make sure you get a dual voltage model, 120-240 if you travel outside the US.
