Answer:	Some break, some don't. Mine come from the dentist (free samples) and others come from various stores. These are thin, fragile little things. A tiny bit too much pressure = SNAP. Sometimes one may last the Whole Mouth, other times two or three. If you have some teeth that are really tight, then odds are it's a strong chance it will SNAP if pressed too hard/quickly. ...some even have the "colored stuff" break off and have to spit them out. Not 100% Quality Control for items this low tech / low cost. They do make sturdier ones (I forget the part number) with a ..larger handle... but those cost extra $$$$ (higher quality = more $$$s)

This is somewhat False Advertising. The original Reach floss used to be green and thick. It is now white and much thinner. Best bet is to buy the 55 yd pack for a buck at the Dollar Store. It's only worth that much now, at least to me.
