Dr. Washington Wentworth Sheffield was a well respected dentist and dental surgeon from New London, Connecticut. In 1850, he created a new tooth cleaning product called toothpaste, replacing the tooth powders that were common at that time. His only problem was "what to put it in"?

Carrageenan (CGN) is a common food additive that has been widely used for decades as a gelling, thickening and stabilizing agent. Carrageenan has been proven safe for human consumption; however, there has been significant confusion in the literature between CGN and the products of intentional acid-hydrolysis of CGN, which are degraded CGN (d-CGN) and poligeenan (PGN). Answer:	There are several Efferdent denture cleaner products. The Efferdent plus mint seems be intended for a short (5 minute) soak, but the package says that dentures can be left in overnight. My experience with that product was that leaving it overnight did no harm, but it didn't do much more good either. There is a product, Efferdent Overnight, that is intended to soak overnight, and it does a much better job of cleaning stuff off. That is what I now use.

Answer:	Sometimes my cap dont fit tighty. So it start to get hard to squeeze out. I just get a toothpick and use it to clear the opening and it works fine.
