Answer:	No, you definitely can't type on this thing. You can press buttons and see the letter and hear it but you don't actually type. The screen is very small. I don't know of any child laptops that do that. The learning system things sometimes do have a mini-app that has a keyboard on a touch screen and you can technically "type" a couple of words on that onto a text bar.

There are other songs, but those are the three that my toddler listens to the most. But it has helped her learn her alphabet, and counting to twenty.
