It will help to set the foundation and provide a smooth, matte finish.The name of it may be throwing you off if you're expecting it to be a mineral powder foundation. It's not that, it's just pressed finishing powder with minerals.

Answer:	It is just old fashion powder. I have tried many brands. I like this the best. I have allergies to a lot of brands of makeup but I can wear this. Sorry I never tried the airbrush.
