Answer:	Yes it does have a thin soft puff and it does have a holed insert built in the jar. I don't use the thin puff it came with, I use a full face brush. I gently shake the powder in the lid, load my brush, tap the excess off and apply to my face from hairline down to chin. I then replace the lid and gently shake the jar so any remaining powder goes back into the jar, below the holed insert.

Answer:	I don't know if it's waterproof, but it stayed on all day and it gave very good coverage hiding my blemishes.

Answer:	Not really. I like this coverage under my eyes and for blemishes. To totally cover a dark spot with this product you may need to apply, followed by powder, and then re-apply once or twice more. I don't care for a caked on appearance so I would not depend on this product though for 'good' coverage of dark spots.
