Answer:	This is a twist up pencil you don’t need to use sharpener. If you want to give a pointy edge at the bottom of the pencil pull off plastic piece and sponge and you will find a sharpener. It’s not necessary to use

Answer:	Facial cleanser and water gets most of it. Vaseline takes off anything that’s left.

Question:	How quickly does this dry out? I apply over my eye shadow and find that some dry out quickly or as soon as I start applying
Answer:	I find it to last as long as I'm applying, one reason I recommend this product. Other's dry fast even reapplying later. I can reapply later to freshen up if needed & still Epic still applies smoothly. You can't go wrong, try it!! I'm very picky, so for me to like & purchase really says something.
Question:	do they test on animals
Answer:	Actually they are NOT really cruelty-free....their parent company (major brand, L'Oreal) sells in China which requires animal testing (just like how MAC isn't REALLY cruelty-free) and L'Oreal straight up lies (fudges facta) about this on their website/packages. While NYX still doesn't test on animals (final product OR ingredients), buying their products helps profit a company that tests a ton of stuff on animals! PETA let's this slide but the Beagle Freedom Project (and even Sephora) does not (and they have an app called Cruelty Cutter that tells you about each product/brand - you can look them up AND EVEN SCAN BY BARCODE so you can check the products already in the house!). Answer:	It used to be, back in the 80's. In the late 90's they changed the formula and it's never been the same. Used to stay on swimming, watery eyes, crying whatever, it never came off till you took it off. WAS the best ever. Nothing compared. How does a mfr keep making and selling such junk these days? Answer:	Maybe original but bad quality compared to what they had in the past. Either they are fake Calvins or Calvin lowered standards.

Question:	I have the eyeliner, but I can’t get the actually color liner out of the pencil! Help
Answer:	Yes. But these were nothing but holes within a month or so. I don’t know if we got a bad batch, or what, but these were garbage.
Question:	Does this eyeliner sting when applied
Answer:	Yes they are. But that is not the fault of the Vietnamese. Hanes is responsible for quality control. The quality of these was OK but the fabric seems to be getting thinner and thinner each time I purchase them. I would rather pay more for thicker cotton. I may switch to another brand if the cotton gets any thinner.

Answer:	Matt. This specific pencil has really great staying power, and durability. I bought about 6 different brands, and this is by far the best!! And my fave...I would just prefer it if nyx was not a subsidury of a larger company that animal tests...although supposedly they do not test themselves.
