STEP 1: Put on gloves. Prep the client’s lashes by applying Intensive Make-up Remover Foam to a cotton round or esthetic wipe. Using a downward motion, cleanse eyelashes thoroughly. Lashes should be free of oil and makeup and completely dry before beginning the Intensive service.

INTENSIVE TINTING PROTOCOL — FOR LICENSED PROFESSIONAL USE

STEP 2: Using a 50/50 or 1:1 ratio, mix equal parts Intensive Tint and Cream Developer in glass dappen dish or plastic cup and stir with mixing stick until the consistency is that of a creamy paste. The mixture should not be too thin or too thick.

STEP 3: Apply a thick layer of Relaxing Eye Cream under the lower eyelid. Then place the protection pad under the lashes of the lower lid to prevent the Intensive product from staining the skin. With the client's eyes open, use the Intensive Application Brush to apply the mixture to lower lashes first on both eyes. Make sure the product covers lashes, including those at the corners of the eyes, from base to tip. When lower lashes are completed, instruct the client to close his or her eyes. Next, apply mixture to upper lashes from base to tip. Again, make sure the corner lashes are covered. Remove any excess product around the eye area to prevent discoloration or temporary staining of the skin. Process lashes for 10 minutes and brows for 3 minutes.

STEP 4: Remove eye protection pads from under eye area. With the client’s eyes closed, use a round cotton pad dampened with water in a downward motion to remove product until no residue is visible. PATCH TEST PROTOCOL

Intensive products contain ingredients that may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions on certain individuals. A preliminary patch test should be made 24 - 48 hours prior to performing the service. Advise your client to return in 24 - 48 hours. If no irritation or inflammation of the skin is apparent at that time, it is usually assumed that no hypersensitivity to Intensive exists.

1. Before administering the patch test, wash and dry hands and then apply gloves.
2. Using soap and water, cleanse and rinse a small area of the client’s skin behind the ear or on the inner surface of the forearm.
3. Following the preparation instructions, mix the Intensive Tint and Cream Developer using the 1:1 ratio.
4. Apply the mixture to a small area behind the client’s ear or their inner forearm and allow to set for 2 minutes.
5. Remove the mixture with a cotton pad moisturized with water.
6. Advise your client to return in 24 to 48 hours.

Answer:	How do I use this product with the vitamin c. I have found not instructions on how to use.
Question:	Since this product is instant, can you wash off early for a lighter effect? Or is it always dark? I want a lighter brown tint for blonde lashes
Answer:	From what I remember reading, it is how long the first solution is left on the hair that determines how dark the hair will be. If you wash that off and then apply the tint, I don't think the tint will work. The tint turns dark immediately after applying it, so washing that off early won't help at all. I would suggest using the lightest color and leaving the liquid solution the least amount of time possible before applying the gel. You might have to experiment with time. Good luck!
Question:	Why does the liquid turn black with time? My last one turned black in about 3 months. It seems to still work, but not as well, and is much messier
Answer:	I feel your pain. It usually takes a year for that to happen to me, but I know what you're referring to. Perhaps someone else can shed some light. One thing I do is refrigerate the product. Maybe that's why it happens in a year, rather than after 3 months. Anyone else know why this happens?

Answer:	How long after? I usually do the dye at night, use mascara the next morning. The only reason I would hesitate in using right after is that you want to be gentle with your lashes. (It’s the same as hair dye). I wouldn’t use makeup remover etc til the next day.

Answer:	I think it's personal preference and depends on your undertones and coloring. I think if you've ever worn blue/black mascara and that seriously made your eyes pop because of your undertones/coloring/eye color, etc, the blue black would be the way to go. If you don't have the coloring that would be enhanced by a blue tone, maybe it won't matter which one you use? Do you wear more black or navy in your wardrobe? I'd go with whichever one is most flattering for you. It's not an obvious blue, but the blue undertone is there.

Answer:	My eyebrows have thinned to the point that I have no hairs until about midway over my eye, and even where there is hair it's pretty sparse. I use this product to draw the inside part of brow (near nose), where I have no hair, and blend it into where my hair starts, so I think you would be able to use it with a little practice. I kind of feel like a artist drawing them on sometimes, lol.
Question:	Due to cancer I do not have any brows until they grow in again. Will this product work on a totally bald brow
Answer:	In my opinion, you have to blend it in with some eyebrow hair even if they are thin, such as mine in order for them to look natural.
