Answer:	I can confirm that I used this product in the UK. All I needed was a 110v to 220v plug adapter and it worked brilliantly overseas for the last 3 years without any issues. The cord for this flat iron is pretty short though, and that was my only issue.

For my just above shoulder length hair I use the 370 setting and my hair is done perfectly in under 10 minutes. my hair is really fine but there's quite a bit of it. I don't do anything fancy like beach waves, just simple smooth out, curl under the ends & bangs. I don't use the clips or glove but I assume that someone with longer hair would find those handy. I called Remington and they said this model was once made dual voltage but not any more. I told that to Amazon but apparently they have not updated their listing. So unless things have changed this model is not 220volt capable.

Oh, one more thing, you might want to buy a silicone mat to lay the straightener on when its hot. I bought one, they are made for these products and it helps to keep your cabinet surface from getting burn spots. Hope this helps.
