Question:	Can i set a hot pot on it
Answer:	No issue with shedding. They work as intended. I use 2, one for cleaning the hair off clippers and another for brushing hair while doing haircuts. They will eventually wear out,but they are inexpensive so the cost of replacement is not big issue.
