Answer:	Ceramic has always been my preference. But when I wanted to buy one that had a smaller circumference, I spotted this one. The price was so much lower than ceramic I thought I'd give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. It heated much hotter than other metal barrels I have used in the past, and has a decent range of temperatures. I use the middle of the range and it doesn't burn my hair, but gives it a nice firm curl. I use a ceramic on for a 1'" curl on the top of my do, and if I didn't know that one was metal and one was ceramic, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference in their results. Don't think you could go wrong with this one. I give it a two thumbs up. One other note about curling irons, while ceramic is very good, I think the critical element is the ability to be able to set the heat control over a wide range of temperatures to accommodate your specific hair composition. Answer:	You should use a 1 inch barrel or bigger the bigger the barrel the looser the curl. Use an argon oil product on your hair for protection on your ends and extra shine. I like to use argon oil on WET hair because on dry hair it can make your hair greasy.

Answer:	A 2 inch curling iron will give your hair some light body in your hair. Similiar to blowing drying it with big round brush. But, if you are looking for curls, I would go with a 1" or 1.5" for bigger curls. If you want tighter curls, get a 1" wand. There are all kinds of videos on how to curl long hair with wands. You can get two different looks depending on how you wrap your hair around wand. Good luck!

Answer:	depends on the length of your hair. If it is NOT super long I would go for 1.25. I purchased 2" first and returned before opening the package as my hair is medium length and fairly darn straight and medium thick and it was way too big. I purchase the 1.5 and it is better, but I should have gone with 1.25 yet I'm keeping the 1.5" because I opened it. If you have medium length hair and medium to thick hair from my experience I would get the 1.25. My hair is straight and fairly long layered and I seek a more beachy wave which I think the 1.25 would accomplish great. Where I got my hair layered and ombre they had a 2" yet she was a master and a TON of product. I hope that helps and I wasn't too confusing!

Answer:	Of course it will! Make sure you use it hot enough and don’t tug on your hair until it’s completely cooled. To keep the curl in straight hair, you HAVE to use product! Texture spray, hairspray, etc.
Question:	Tips and tricks you've learned while using this
Answer:	For deep tighter waves section your hair into smaller sections, bigger sections of hair for loose light waves. You can also use more or less pressure when you clamp the tool on your hair, for example, I use less pressure and less time when closer to my roots so they don’t get that weird straight line at the top of my head and then as I move down I use more pressure and hold it a few seconds longer. Use a light coat of texture spray before and after and comb through your hair with your fingers to separate the waves and it won’t be frizzy. Use a volumizing power in your roots after so that it doesn't look flat compared to the rest of your hair. I also pull the tool up and away from my scalp when I am at the roots so it gives it a bit of volume.

How To Use?

1.Heat up the curling iron after fixing the desired barrel on guiding handler, wait a minute till curling iron is warm.

2.Dry your hair and brush your hair thoroughly, make sure there are no tangles.

3.Divide hair into several pieces from the occipital area.

For Defined Spirals,

wrap a 1" section of hair tightly in between the curves, leaving the ends out. Hold your spiral barrel in this position for a few seconds. Then pull the iron out from the center of the curl.

For a Textured Wave,

wrap a 1" section of hair around the curves, leaving the ends out. Hold your spiral barrel in this position for a few seconds.Then pull the iron out from the center of the curl.

For other curls and waves,

wrap a 1" section of hair around the barrel, leaving the ends out. Hold your barrel in this position for a few seconds.Then pull the iron out from the center of the curl.

4.Repeat the process until desired look is achieved.
