Answer:	For deep tighter waves section your hair into smaller sections, bigger sections of hair for loose light waves. You can also use more or less pressure when you clamp the tool on your hair, for example, I use less pressure and less time when closer to my roots so they don’t get that weird straight line at the top of my head and then as I move down I use more pressure and hold it a few seconds longer. Use a light coat of texture spray before and after and comb through your hair with your fingers to separate the waves and it won’t be frizzy. Use a volumizing power in your roots after so that it doesn't look flat compared to the rest of your hair. I also pull the tool up and away from my scalp when I am at the roots so it gives it a bit of volume.

Answer:	I don'y have experience with the deep waver, but my hair is in layers and it is cut in a bob, just above my shoulders also. I love this waver ! Makes a nice wave without the kinky look. Just takes some practice. There are a ton of videos on YouTube show how to use this waver in short hair. Check them out and I think you will have a better idea. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It makes your hair crimped, not curly which I didn't like but if you want big crimps, then girl, it's for you! I returned because mine kept going off when supposed to be on! Faulty one. Good luck!

Answer:	I used 91% Isopropyl rubbing alcohol as slip solution. I dipped the spatula side of the tool into alcohol solution before squeezing poly gel onto spatula. I found this method worked for me.

Answer:	Mine lasted a couple of weeks but keep in mind I have two kids that are very active and I myself am always on the go so I bumped them a lot.
