Answer:	The tape measure I have measures the diameter of the foam at just slightly under 2", more like 1 7/8ths".

Answer:	I slide the clips out, roll my hair, slide the clip back in and snap shut. They stay fastened. When I am dry, I unfasten and slide the clip out before I take the curler out . This way my hair will not tangle with the clip. I read this hint from another user.
Question:	Is the frame of these rollers flexible or hard
Answer:	Been using these rollers for years, and love them! After my hair is washed, blown dry and rolled, I take care of all else I have to do to get ready. Giving them time to curl, and then few shots with the hair dryer, let them cool, and un-roll them gently. But, you really have to know how use to them, or you will wind up pulling your hair out. These velcro rollers are the only way to give my fine long hair a lot of volume and a little wave, without using a flat iron, or hot rollers, that cause damage. I find, for me, when I section the hair, I pull each section of hair up together, and roll it all in the middle of the roller, and not across the entire roller, which helps it not to get tangled in the velcro. Also, using a conditioner, is a must, which also helps it not to get tangled. If you have never used velcro rollers, try one section, to get use to taking them out. Answer:	I use a hair dryer every time and it doesn’t damage the curlers or make my hair frizzy. I have very thick hair so I sleep with them in and then blow dry in the morning to finish drying. Sometimes if I put them in during the day, I blow dry right away instead of air drying and they’re still no damage.

Answer:	Not the clamps, metal pins. They work well for me. And my hair is pretty short and they hold the roller well. Hope this helps
Question:	how do they get hot? I see a thin wire to heat them
Answer:	There are metal posts that heat them. The curlers slide onto the metal posts and are heated from the middle outwards. They quite hot but do take a few minutes to heat up.

Answer:	I don't see why not. I have a few clairol brand clips that I use, they work fine. Pretty much shaped the same just had to squeeze them so they were a tad tighter grip on the curler

Answer:	My hair is crazy thick and naturally very wavy and frizzy in the humidity. I swear by these hot rollers and have used them since middle school (I’m 30). They work best if you blow out your hair with a round brush then immediately use the hot rollers with a spray gel (herbal essence spray gel, teal bottle). 5-6 rollers straight back - I do the first by my face with a thick roller and the bottom piece at base of my neck with the thick one) then 3 on each side of my head. Thick one by the face and then 2 of the smaller ones behind it. Keep in for 10 min for looser curls, 20-30 for longer stay. Take out, toss your head over and run fingers through the scalp part to loosen at the base, and then add gloss! My curls last 5-6 days cause I have very dry hair (unless it’s the dead of summer then typically 4 days cause humidity - my nemesis ). Enjoy!!!!

Question:	Can you place the clip by scalp to keep from burning scalp
Answer:	You have to put the clip on the roller by aiming from the bottom to the top so that one side of the clip rests against your scalp. Not sure that makes sense but I was able to figure it out after a few attempts. It was easier to do with my longer hair that wrapped around the roller a few times than on the layered pieces closer to my scalp.

Answer:	I don't think they'll stay put in thin hair. The clips won't have enough anchor. They'll flop all over. Plus, these rollers get so hot they burn my scalp. I have to put a little square of toilet tissue next to my scalp before I put on the clamp/clip thing.

Answer:	I don't think your hair needs to be at least six inches long for these to work. Mine is much shorter BUT I also bought a triangle net for under a couple dollars. Put the net on covering your bottom row of rollers in the back, pull it a bit so it will keep the rollers in place and tie it at the top of your forehead. This works perfect for me. Keeps the rollers in, and in place and all rolled up.

Answer:	Hey there, no the cord does not retract. I am not super happy with this set. Mine came in the mail pre opened and dusty and the small curlers are really small, I can only use the larger ones.

Answer:	Hi there! I have not burned my fingers because I have used the rollers by holding the ends, however i have had the rollers too close to my neck and felt the heat. I'be held the roller up with a rolled face towel until it cools enough to touch my neck.
Question:	I am a roller "virgin". I have never used them. How do you heat them up? Are they easy to use? Will they work on fine hair? Is one set enough
Answer:	This answer will be attributed to my husband because I'm answering on his Amazon account, but I am a woman with just-below shoulder-length hair. I bought this kit yesterday at Walmart and have yet to see how the actual ceramic rollers work as the "pins" they provide to hold the rollers in place DO NOT HOLD THE ROLLERS IN PLACE, and any woman who has ever curled her hair will see this right out of the box. If you have never used curlers, you will fuss and fiddle with these pins and think that you're doing something wrong---you aren't. It's the poor quality pins provided in this kit. They do not "fit" the rollers (the instructions tell you to place them "crosswise" over the roller but they aren't long enough for that). You can get a somewhat diagonal direction going, but by then you've pushed most the hair off the curler and possibly popped the pin off the roller too. I lost most the hair off the roller every time I tried to slide these awful pins on. It is obvious that no one actually TRIED these things out before Remington started selling them to the unsuspecting masses. The pins also allow the rollers to slid off your head, or to slide down onto your neck---a hot ceramic roller on the back of your neck doesn't feel too good. Of course, as I said, I saw that this was going to pretty much happen after opening the box, but thought, having rolled my hair for decades now, that I could work through it. Nope. I finally gave up. I hear you can buy spring-loaded plastic clips (the ones that look like a set sharp teeth--uppers and lowers--opening and closing) from Conair or one of those brands, but I haven't gone out and looked for those yet. $15.00 for a set of 10 ceramic rollers from Remington, and then $9.00 more, at least, for clips from another company that supposedly work. We'll see. I wanted these because blow-drying my hair is causing a lot of frizz and broken ends and I know other women who love ceramic rollers.
Question:	Excuse my ignorance, but how do you heat these up
Answer:	You leave them in the red case just like you received them, and plug them in until they're heated through, about 10+ minutes.

Question:	What is the warranty for this product
Answer:	This is a wash and rinse shampoo/conditioner. Oils are to leave in beard and conditions it. You can use both but i wouldn't ditch beard oil since it's meant to stay on your beard to nourish and condition your beard. This shampoo/conditioner is just to wash and condition your beard and doesn't last as long as oils do.
Question:	Can you order the long ones to go with the short set, and can they be used on same base
Answer:	Wash 1-2x per week max depending on dirt level. Conditioner “co-wash” every time you shampoo and in between shampoos. Basically, you use the conditioner (co-wash) at least 2-3x as often as you shampoo.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the curlers
Answer:	one of the bottles the pump popped up easily and the other one i had to unscrew the pump and hold the stem while twisting and it popped up. a little messy but it is worth it
Question:	Do you get the color shown
Answer:	Niether. It made my very rough beard feel more like the hair that used to be on top of my head. Not straw or steel wool.
