Answer:	50-55 watts. I actually called Sunbeam to check. Very little. I use mine with one of those cheap, brown three outlet extension cords all the time and the cord never gets warm. That's why most people ask the wattage. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Check the box for the model number...it SHOULD be 731-500 (this item). I have checked it and it does NOT have auto shutoff. The instructions are confusing and misleading on this. It does have power light but this is NOT an auto shutoff light!!!! I think most of the confusion over this question is because purchasers are not checking the actual model number and perhaps were shipped the wrong one!!!
Question:	Does the handle get spoiled with time if used in the shower regularly
Answer:	The 732-500 model is measured at 12" x 24" and 731-500 is 12" x15". Both have a sponge insert for moist heat. The 756-500 is 12" x 15" and does not include the sponge. That is the only notable difference I could find when I compared models on sunbeam's website.
