The one with the large circular O with the long plastic piece is for ponytails - you first put your ponytail in the large O and then you take the long piece and slide it between the rubberband and your scalp and then pull it through to form somewhat of an inverted ponytail. The 2nd piece that has a squished O with a hook on each end that looks like a question mark is to make a bun. You place your ponytail between the squished O and slide it through so that just the end of your hair is hanging out and then you roll it towards your head so that it wraps the hair around it. When you have it rolled right to your scalp, you hook the question mark ends together to hold the bun together and then arrange your hair around it to cover it so it isn't seen.
