Answer:	For deep tighter waves section your hair into smaller sections, bigger sections of hair for loose light waves. You can also use more or less pressure when you clamp the tool on your hair, for example, I use less pressure and less time when closer to my roots so they don’t get that weird straight line at the top of my head and then as I move down I use more pressure and hold it a few seconds longer. Use a light coat of texture spray before and after and comb through your hair with your fingers to separate the waves and it won’t be frizzy. Use a volumizing power in your roots after so that it doesn't look flat compared to the rest of your hair. I also pull the tool up and away from my scalp when I am at the roots so it gives it a bit of volume.

Answer:	Hi Jo I have been using it for a few years now and the product has changed lately it used to dry faster and hold better. My hair is fine too and I would like something that will have a firmer hold. It seem to dry pretty fast but I keep a bottle with me to reapply during the day. Good Luck!

Answer:	The Way I've always done it, is to take a piece of cardboard just bigger than double the width of the blade (plus a half inch) and fold it in half around the blade and put the sharp side in facing the fold. Then wrap the whole thing up in something (bubble wrap or a rag) then mail it in a bubble mailer. However, for the straight edges I just bought a little knife sharpener for like $15 and I do those ones at home myself whenever they dull.Ok. I just checked Cutco's site and they don't like the bubble mailers. I do because I use to work in shipping, but I guess with knives you want to ship them in a cardboard box.

Answer:	I don'y have experience with the deep waver, but my hair is in layers and it is cut in a bob, just above my shoulders also. I love this waver ! Makes a nice wave without the kinky look. Just takes some practice. There are a ton of videos on YouTube show how to use this waver in short hair. Check them out and I think you will have a better idea. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have only used motor mouth, not small talk but I believe motor mouth contains a gloss. I think if you are just looking for volume, they are similar. Just a note that motor mouth does not have a pleasant smell.

Answer:	Yes; giving my thick, heavy hair the lift it needs is exactly why I use this.

Answer:	No...unless you use too much of it. It’s a nice light weight non greasy feeling product. I use a half of the back of my fingernail, or so, rub it between my hands and use while scrunching my hair, which is not curly. Then, once it’s in place, I use Bed Head Hard Head spray you hold...also non greasy and not too concrete feeling. Just right together.

Answer:	I think they are not very different. I have long trick hair and I use straigthener iron, personnaly, I think Cristalliste is better for me. Does'nt leave any weight in my hair. But Discipline has the best smell of all Kerastase, in my opinion ;-).
