Answer:	Even though the shampoo doesn’t sting and burn the eyes (as regular shampoo or soap would), it still makes good sense to keep any chemicals and dirty water out of the eyes to avoid possible irritation or injury. I have used this shampoo (diluted) on my fingertips to carefully clean the brown-stained hair near my dog’s eyes without any problem, but I still try not to get any directly in her eyes and always rinse well right away in a direction away from her eyes. I would not attempt that with a shampoo that wasn’t tear-free, due to discomfort and potential of causing corneal ulcers or other eye problems. I have been well pleased with the Burt’s Bees product and have used it for several years (still being careful around the eyes). Hope this helps!

Answer:	For a while yes, but you know dogs, they love nothing more than a good roll in the great outdoors! Our Daisy smells wonderful after her shower, not too flowery or perfumed, just clean and sweet. Bear in mind that dogs who shed will loose the smell sooner as they're literally loosing the hairs that carry the scent. Non-shedders will retain the scent longer as their hair doesn't fall out taking the scent with it. We love this shampoo - it's great for taming the tangles.

Question:	I've used this product about 4 times now and every time it leaves my hair extremely greasy feeling at the top. What am I doing wrong
Answer:	My ex-dog groomer says she used this on our dog and I can tell you, it has a very baby powdery smell to it that lasts. We have washed our dog 3 times now and still can't get this smell out. I am highly allergic/asthmatic to anything with a baby powder smell so this is a NO from me. Like others said in the reviews and answers, a powder-fresh tampon smell or old-lady with too much perfume smell. If you are sensitive, stay away!

Answer:	It may not be an issue of doing anything wrong as bodies and hair types vary. For me, excluding hormonal fluctuations through each month, I've only had this issue when using too much or not rinsing as thoroughly as I thought I was. I've found I don't need to use as much shampoo and conditioner with this brand as I do with all other brands. Try using less than you think you need and see if that reduces the greasy feeling you're experiencing. Hope this helps!

Answer:	According to the manufacturer's website this product: "Contains pathenol (pro-vitamin B-5), which promotes long lasting moisturization, improves manageability, improves conditioning to a damaged coat and provides for a fuller and more luxurious shine. Extra natural coat conditioning is derived from wheat protein." A complete list of ingredients is not supplied, however it is a mild, professional quality shampoo especially designed for puppies and dogs with sensitive skin.
Question:	Is this shampoo clear or is it creamy
Answer:	We've been using this for past 1 1/2 year and do not use conditioner after using this shampoo.
Question:	Does this also help with breakage and hair falling out
Answer:	Label does not say "tearless" but does say, "It protects and moisturizes delicate skin, washes gently and won't make your baby cry like a baby if you get it in his eyes (but, please! be careful!)". We have had no problems with it getting in our dogs eyes and causing a problem. It is gentle.
Question:	Can these products be used on dogs
Answer:	It’s DOG shampoo. I wouldn’t test it on any other animal but it is amazing for dogs. Doesn’t really do much for actually washing your dog but I use it for the long lasting scent.

Answer:	NO! It has neem oil which is toxic to cats as they lick themselves. It is for dogs ONLY and it also says so in the details of the seller.

Answer:	It is NOT tear free. Do not get this in your pets eyes. It says not to get in eyes in the product description.

Answer:	I do not see biotin listed on the ingredients. I do not see the word sulfate listed either. I have been using this for over a year and like it. My hair is straight and fine, and it doesn't weigh it down.

Answer:	No. The PH Balance is different. No human shampoo should ever be used on dogs. However Hempz does make dog shampo. It’s called hempz pets. That has the correct ph balance for dogs.
