Question:	Has anyone used it for hair loss? Did it work
Answer:	I use it a part of my regiment for hair loss. I've been using it for 3 years. The active ingredient Ketoconazole (1%) works to suppress the androgen receptor which is part of the process of testosterone conversion to DHT and its destructive action on hair follicles. DHT binds to the receptors of hair follicles 5 times more than testosterone. It is thought that an abundance of DHT attached to hair follicle receptors can trigger the follicles to miniaturize, leading to hair loss. Initially developed as a dandruff, psoriasis and Seborroheic Dermatitis treatment, it has been an effective solution to stopping DHT. It isn’t a miracle cure for hair loss. It is, however, a great and proven hair loss treatment option. It smells pleasantly good, doesn’t feel greasy and there is no build-up. All you need to do is applying it on wet hair three to five times a week or as directed by your healthcare provider, and leave it on scalp for five minutes and rinse your hair. Question:	Do you use this shampoo only or use with your regular shampoo
Answer:	It probably depends on how often you wash your hair and what you're trying to use it for. I bought it for exfoliation to help with dandruff, but I go 3 or 4 days before my hair is oily enough to need to be washed again. I would suggest rotating back and forth just to keep from damaging your scalp from too much abrasion and to keep from potentially drying your hair out since this isn't as smooth or nourishing as a normal shampoo.

Answer:	I can not speak for all. Just my experience as a black woman going through the changes of life including thinning hair. Most noticeagle on top and my edges . No perm. No press. Question:	Is this a cleanser or should I cleanse + exfoliate first and then apply this as a toner? Or before toner
Answer:	This is your exfoliator, so no need for an additional scrub or another chemical exfoliator. If you are new to exfoliating with a BHA this strong, putting on a toner first can help this from penetrating so quickly (which could be a good thing). You can also put your toner on afterwards if you want the fastest exfoliation. If you haven't used a chemical exfoliator in a while, I'd start slowly, every other day. This one is particularly strong. This is NOT a cleanser and should not be washed off. It is also NOT a scrub; it does not contain any abrasive ingredients like walnuts shells or sugars. You should 1) cleanse skin 2) toner (optional) 3) this exfoliator 4) moisturizer suitable for your skin type or daytime sunscreen.

Question:	Is there a secret to opening the bottle pump? I was able to open the conditioner bottle but not the shampoo-tried hot water, tapping, even pliers
Answer:	You have to Remove, or Detach and lift, the pump tube Away from the bottle, wipe off the upper part of the gooey plastic pump body, grasp or gently use pliers to LOOSELY hold the tube (to stop it from spinning), and then while holding... rotate the pump nozzle counterclockwise until it releases and pops up. Then reassemble the pump onto the bottle. It could be easier, but it is what it is.
Question:	For thinning dyed hair
Answer:	I don't think dyed has anything to do with the performance. I find that my hair is actually growing however, I don't have dyed hair.
Question:	What are the benefits of using the shampoo with the conditioner? as opposed to using another brand of conditioner
Answer:	I purchased less expensive conditioners to find out, and I haven't found its equal. This is the best conditioner (and shampoo, for that matter) that I've ever used. Not only does it make my hair look beautiful- shiny, smooth, glossy while doing away with my ever widening part- it smells beautiful. I wish I could find a shampoo and conditioner that costs less, but, so far, this is the absolute best of its kind.
Question:	Are there any men that have had success with this? (most of the reviews are from women
Answer:	Definitely more volume. Hair no longer feels thin as it does with your typical shampoo/conditioner. It does help a bit with growth, it does have BIOTIN after all. Seeing as I have a bit less hair as I age, I feel I can't do without, though a bit of luxury as it is pricey.

First, I simmer some fresh rosemary in the cider vinegar (because it's not only a preservative, but is good for hair and scalp) and then I add about a cup of that to a half gallon of distilled water, which leaves absolutely no build up on hair. Since it's expensive, I rinse my hair fully with shower water first, then use the distilled water and vinegar mix as a final rinse and hair is full of shine. Question:	Can this shampoo be used as a co-wash (1-2 times a week), in addition to weekly shampoo/deep conditions for Type 4 natural hair? Or is it too harsh for kinky coily hair, more than once a week
Answer:	I use it monthly for clarifying. It’s very good for that. I use more moisturizing shampoos on other wash days. It’s only $4 at Trader Joe’s so that’s where I get it. This price is crazy. I have hears that some people use the conditioner or even the body wash as a co-wash but not this.
Question:	Has anyone tried using this as a face cleanser? Does it deep clean
Answer:	I have used it as a face cleanser they also sell a body gel with same ingredients, tea tree is a natural antibacterial and rosemary helps prevent hair from falling and I believe is antibacterial as well (don't quote me on that). I hope they never get rid of it because is awesome, no chemicals and is very reasonably priced at TJ's luckily I have one nearby. This one here is way overpriced!
