Wash the hair with Anti Residue Shampoo, massaging into a lather. Leave for 5 minutes. Rinse. Repeat the operation for virgin hair or resistant hair.

Use a hair dryer and hands to dry hair to about 85% dry. Section the hair into 6 equal parts with hair clips.

Answer:	It's possible that the clarifying shampoo will change the color of your highlights. I use the system (I love it) but it has lightened (just a bit) my colored and highlighted hair. I'm not sure if it's the clarifying shampoo or the formaldehyde that's in the straightening mixture.

Answer:	Yes, as your hair starts to grow after the 3-4 months mark you notice your roots coming a little more wavy than the rest of your hair. This was my first ever keratin treatment and it was wonderful for almost 2 months. I did have to start doing touch ups with my hair straightener after a few weeks but nothing major. Peter Coppola Keratin Treatment Steps

Step 1: Shampoo the hair thoroughly once with the Peter Coppola Clarifying Shampoo. If the client's hair is heavily saturated with styling products, first shampoo with a retail shampoo such as Peter Coppola Total Repair Smoothing Shampoo and then shampoo with the Peter Coppola Clarifying Shampoo once.

Step 2: Towel-dry the hair well until there is no excess water (approx. 70% dry) Squeeze the hair with a towel and do not rub the hair in an abrasive fashion, try to avoid any unnecessary damage to the hair.

Step 3: Section the hair into 4 sections. Front hairline to the nape of the neck. Apex of the head to just behind the ear on each side of the head.

Step 4: After the hair is in "touch up" sections, starting in the back right section, pull down 1" of hair and begin applying the product just off the scalp through the ends of the hair. Use a fine-tooth tail comb to comb the product into each section.

Step 5: After the product has been applied, process the client's hair according to the condition. As little as 20 minutes for hair that is damaged (bleached, double processed, heavily highlighted, or previously relaxed hair). Up to 50 minutes for hair that is virgin, very coarse, very thick, or has a very heavy curl pattern. Comb the hair smooth every five minutes of processing with your fine-toothed comb.

Step 6: Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear from the hair (approx. 5 minutes, ensuring no more product is left on the hair).

Step 7: Blow-dry the hair 100% into the desired shape with a round, vent or paddle brush. Heavy curl pattern, use a round brush to increase tension on the hair - this will ensure a smooth result.

Step 8: Section the hair appropriately for the flat iron portion in 4 sections "color touch up" partings. When flat ironing take a ⅛ inch sections starting at the nape and pass smoothly from the roots to the ends between 3 and 8 passes or until the hair is smooth and frizz free.

Peter Coppola Keratin Treatment Steps

Step 1: Shampoo the hair thoroughly once with the Peter Coppola Clarifying Shampoo. If the client's hair is heavily saturated with styling products, first shampoo with a retail shampoo such as Peter Coppola Total Repair Smoothing Shampoo and then shampoo with the Peter Coppola Clarifying Shampoo once.

Step 2: Towel-dry the hair well until there is no excess water (approx. 70% dry) Squeeze the hair with a towel and do not rub the hair in an abrasive fashion, try to avoid any unnecessary damage to the hair.

Step 3: Section the hair into 4 sections. Front hairline to the nape of the neck. Apex of the head to just behind the ear on each side of the head.

Step 4: After the hair is in "touch up" sections, starting in the back right section, pull down 1" of hair and begin applying the product just off the scalp through the ends of the hair. Use a fine-tooth tail comb to comb the product into each section.

Step 5: After the product has been applied, process the client's hair according to the condition. As little as 20 minutes for hair that is damaged (bleached, double processed, heavily highlighted, or previously relaxed hair). Up to 50 minutes for hair that is virgin, very coarse, very thick, or has a very heavy curl pattern. Comb the hair smooth every five minutes of processing with your fine-toothed comb.

Step 6: Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear from the hair (approx. 5 minutes, ensuring no more product is left on the hair).

Step 7: Blow-dry the hair 100% into the desired shape with a round, vent or paddle brush. Heavy curl pattern, use a round brush to increase tension on the hair - this will ensure a smooth result.

Step 8: Section the hair appropriately for the flat iron portion in 4 sections "color touch up" partings. When flat ironing take a ⅛ inch sections starting at the nape and pass smoothly from the roots to the ends between 3 and 8 passes or until the hair is smooth and frizz free.

Question:	Does this product help with frizz and flyaways
Answer:	No. This product is to help make your hair stronger so it doesn't break as much when you highlight or color it. If you want no frizz and flyaways, you need to put keratin back into your porous hair. The best product for that is the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Ginger Treatment. Yes, it's expensive (I got my bottle for $18 on Amazon for about 5 ounces) but you use it once a month and OMG what a difference you will see!!! Trust me, I've researched and tried every product under the sun! I was even going to get one of those Keratin Treatments until I found out ALL of them have formaldehyde (even the ones that say they don't). Having had cancer in the past, I do not wish to do anything that will bring it back hence the no formaldehyde. So I researched other ways and tried the Paul Mitchell product I mentioned. I now have smooth hair most of the time. Hope this helped.

Answer:	Just buy it from a salon and you'll know it's the real deal. Your only saving about $4 buying it off amazon but your also adding to diversion when purchasing it here. Olaplex works really hard to stop sellers on Amazon. This will be reported.

Answer:	Stayed a year back at one of these boutique hotels and used some of the mini shampoo bottles, natural blond hair never treated or colored but it was completely ruined. Did get a little improvement with some 200 shampoo and conditioner but this solved the tangled messy look completely. This is after just a few times of 10 minutes and hanging in the sauna for heat. So then cvs was out of the frida brand of conditioner and i just grabbed the brunettte. Well that made it quite brown soninguess it’s good for color. Then got the lightning conditioner and after all this stupid trust in a mainstream brand it’s blond again and not frizzy. I’ll let it rest and do this olaplex 3 product again. Really worked in this case, recommend for natural blond. Amazed something worked after oils, exoensive conditioners did not. It was literally breaking a lot every day for a year too. Just do it a little and wash it out, it’s very effective and i think it better to not overdo a good thing.

Answer:	I am a licensed beautician of 24yrs. This IS the real product. I have had it in my Salon for years. Since the pandemic I wasn't able to get it quick enough from my supplier so I ordered it from Amazon. Answer:	I think I would. I feel that this soaks on the top layer. And thermal spray are better for section by section. Like I would use this before blow drying and heat spray before straightening

Answer:	If you use this product with a hairdryer or flat iron, then I think you can get it dyed in two days. I wouldn't use it as a leave-in conditioner (without heat) and then get the hair dyed. It's very thick, and may coat the hair too much for the dye to work correctly, if used without the heat of a dryer or flat iron. That's my opinion.
Question:	I am a little confused with this product. do i only use this once per 5 washes? or every time i wash my hair
Answer:	You can use this every 5 washes (there website says it’s based on once daily wash). I have pretty dry hair at the ends so I use it every other wash and found it works well that way. I would just watch for build up if you’re using it more often but everyone’s hair is different. Use this with a little dry oil spray or hair serum and your hair will be super soft and shiny.

Answer:	You absolutely need to use a clarifying shampoo before starting the treatment. It's very important that your hair does not have any residue from other products otherwise the treatment will not take to your hair. It does not need to be an expensive brand. Answer:	Should be, however most irons are not accurate so 425 may not be actual temperature could be less and that will effect the results, real temperature between 425-450 should be work

Answer:	In answer to your questions: Yes, this product can be used on color hair I have used this product twice, and had no damage. But, my hair had no damage prior to using it either. I think this will depend on how curly your hair is currently. If you hair is super curly, it will lessen the curl and make it easier to blow-dry and style. If you hair is not very curly, you would still be able to wear it curly if you did not want to blow-dry it. It would just not be as curly. I hope this helps.

Answer:	You wash your hair really good. Do not use conditioner because you hair needs to be squeaky clean. Blow dry your hair and apply product. Not too much, use a small tooth comb after you apply and excess will come off. After you finish applying next step is to blow dry hair. Be gentle with your hair because it feels weird at this point. Make sure it is completely dry. It can be hard to tell if it is dry because of the texture it makes you hair at this point. Then section your hair so you don't miss any. Straighten with flat iron. Run flat iron about 3 or 4 times before getting another piece to straighten. Leave on about 6 hours. I usually do this before I go to bed then wash out in morning. After you wash out you will be soo amazed at how beautiful and healthy your hair is! I never want to be without this! It's a miracle treatment. Good luck!
