Sulfonate is related to but not the same as sulfates. In a sulfonate the sulfur is linked direct to a carbon atom where as a sulfate is linked directly to the carbon chain via an oxygen atom. They do have similar qualities when it comes to propensity of being irritating to the skin but sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is not a sulfate.

Answer:	FAKE REVIEWS?! Most of the positive reviews are suspiciously from July/Aug of 2018 or other clumped time spots. Does everybody have thinning hair at the same time? It appears as if they hire some folks for a few weeks to write the reviews. It is sad that we have to be so hypersensitive to fake news, and that they do not believe in their product enough to let the real users speak. I don't have a lot of extra $$ but I have pride and my review cannot be bought with a free bottle of anything.

Answer:	I did not notice increase in static, but it does make the hair extremely hard to comb through. I have fine hair, but after each wash I get so many knots, that it is a real mission to comb. I use Pura D'Or conditioner as well, but it does not make any difference.

Answer:	Well I just went through and compared all the ingredients between the golden and blue version. The BIG BIG DIFFERENCE that jumped out at me is this now has Ketoconazole at 0.9% in it. I have been historically using the blue version and using Nizoral Ketoconazole shampoo twice a week (marketed for dandruff at $14 per bottle and available at target) which is typically used as the only ingredient in lots of expensive hair loss shampoos out there! So Pura D' Or has taken my advice!...and have added a very important ingredient to this mix. Also it has added Alma oil, Prunus Africana bark and Cucubita Pepo herbs that the blue bottle does not have.

Answer:	I would use Murray’s pomade, which is petroleum jelly based. I would use this shampoo to take the pomade out of my hair, but before washes I would massage extra virgin olive oil into my hair. The olive oil clings to the pomade and is easier to wash out the grease. It will also leave your hair nourished after washing your hair a couple of times in a row. Without the olive oil, your hair will be dry after washing your hair multiple times. I use extra virgin because it has all the nutrients.

Answer:	This question is based on my original review and I don't remember my review but don't think shampoos are tested to include the GF symbol. This testing, for wheat, is usually on edible items but I can understand being careful! However, I got this shampoo for someone else. He likes Dove products. I'm the one with the wheat allergies and I use a different shampoo but don't think my shampoo has the GF label either. I'm going to look next time we have the 2 in 1 shampoo. My cat started to lick the places where I used it, and as you can see the ingredients are not clearly stated whether or not that would be harmful.
