Answer:	NO. I carefully read the ingredients online before ordering, as I cannot use sulfates OR sodium chloride with my keratin treated hair. Sulfonate is related to but not the same as sulfates. In a sulfonate the sulfur is linked direct to a carbon atom where as a sulfate is linked directly to the carbon chain via an oxygen atom. They do have similar qualities when it comes to propensity of being irritating to the skin but sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is not a sulfate.

Answer:	FAKE REVIEWS?! Most of the positive reviews are suspiciously from July/Aug of 2018 or other clumped time spots. Does everybody have thinning hair at the same time? It appears as if they hire some folks for a few weeks to write the reviews. It is sad that we have to be so hypersensitive to fake news, and that they do not believe in their product enough to let the real users speak. I don't have a lot of extra $$ but I have pride and my review cannot be bought with a free bottle of anything.

Answer:	I did not notice increase in static, but it does make the hair extremely hard to comb through. I have fine hair, but after each wash I get so many knots, that it is a real mission to comb. I use Pura D'Or conditioner as well, but it does not make any difference.

Answer:	Well I just went through and compared all the ingredients between the golden and blue version. The BIG BIG DIFFERENCE that jumped out at me is this now has Ketoconazole at 0.9% in it. I have been historically using the blue version and using Nizoral Ketoconazole shampoo twice a week (marketed for dandruff at $14 per bottle and available at target) which is typically used as the only ingredient in lots of expensive hair loss shampoos out there! So Pura D' Or has taken my advice!...and have added a very important ingredient to this mix. Also it has added Alma oil, Prunus Africana bark and Cucubita Pepo herbs that the blue bottle does not have.

Question:	Does this shampoo and conditioner have a strong scent and how true it is that it smells horrible
Answer:	The shampoo is great. Nice fragrance but not overpowering. I won’t use anything else. The conditioner however may work ok. But the smell is horrible. Yes it is true. Same with the body lotion and even the baby lotion. I hate to say it but it seems anything with that cream consistency smells bad and I will never buy again. But all the other products I’ve used I love. The hand soap is great. And the laundry stain remover is awesome. I’ll gladly try these lotion products again if they change the formula. I’ve used Puracy products for years and hope they change this some day. Hope this helps!

Question:	Is it sulfate free
Answer:	I was wondering the same thing. I found this product originally by searching for non-toxic hair products in the Environmental Working Group database (by the way, it's not flawless, but I HIGHLY recommend EWG). This is one of the few in the 'EWG certified' list and the ingredients look fine, but I just found three possible reasons for the warning: a.) the plastic bottle it comes in (Bisphenol A aka BPA & Phlatates are in a lot of plastics and on the Proposition 65 list, but no idea if they're in this) b.) the first ingredient, water (which seems to comes from Lake Success in NY - EWG's water database those ZIP codes don't seem to have a Lead issue, but instead a lot of possible carcinogens in high levels) c.) the product may not be fully organic (in 2016, CBS reported in Why "organic" shampoo can be loaded with chemicals, "Hains Celestial in February separately settled for $7.5 million a class action by a California resident and the nonprofit Center for Environmental Health, or CEH, which sued over the organic labeling of its Avalon Organics and Jason personal care product brands."). You could still do a heck of a lot worse with the other hair care options, though. Personally, unless I find an alternative, I'll probably stick with this.

Answer:	Not sure but would not recommend since they changed the formula its been awful

Answer:	I put some on my head then add water from the shower - that makes it lather really well. Otherwise it doesn't lather much. I use this with the biotin conditioner and my hair comes away clean and soft.

Answer:	It does not lather like other shampoos because it has less toxins in it, specifically the ones that are added to lather soaps and shampoos (SLS). It takes some time to adjust to, but better for you overall.

Answer:	My 9 year old and 13 year old both used it with no issues. They didn't love the smell, but you can't smell any strong smells when your hair is dry. I like the smell, but i think the ginger throws them for a loop. Not used to the smell of ginger.

Answer:	I have used $80 bottles of sulphate free shampoo and this product. I have noticed no difference in this drawing my color out faster. In fact, it cleans my scalp better.

Answer:	Although I have no experience with dreads, I would think so. I love the condition it leaves my hair in, and the light, natural scent is one which doesn't bother my asthma. It takes very little shampoo to do the job and doesn't "strip" the hair. Leaves it soft, but not limp. I use the mint or rosemary scent.

Answer:	I personally would NOT put it on clothes because it is oil and wax - both will stain. You can put it on your neck, inside elbows and behind ears. That is how I wear it. Keeping it far away from my clothes.
