Answer:	I have to disagree with others who say the Wet Brush is better, at least for my hair. I have very fine, long hair but a lot of it. While the wet brush will get the tangles out, it takes upwards of two hours or more and comes with much hair pulled out. While it does pull less than this brush, I was able to get all my significant tangles out in less than an hour and with minimal hair removed.

Answer:	Hey there. I’m mixed race age 60 at the time of this writing. I have used this type of brush in the past and plant to order another to keep in my travel bag. Yes, this brush style will work on very curly hair BUT - only use it on detangled wet hair. You can use this style brush on dry hair to get it up into a pony tail and smooth the hair. Now for a reality check. I understand that you only have a little space to type. Look on the Internet to find the curl pattern of your child’s hair then use YouTube to find suggestions for how to manage the hair. I’m so happy that you care to invest in your child’s hair. Please teach you child to only use a brush rarely. At my age, brushes - even this style - pulls my hair out by the roots and I don’t have hair to lose. Use please a very wide tooth comb made for wet combing as combs also pull out the hair. A conditioner is more important than shampoo. Switch to a co wash. Use Nutragena clarifying shampoo when you need extra cleaning then a moisturizing conditioner. You can make a safe conditioner DIY at home - look for a recipe with oil. Oil is the friend of curls. Part the hair into 4 sections and secure the sections. Start at the end of the hair on one section. Divide into more sections. Castor oil and coconut oil work well to comb into the hair. If too oily for the curl pattern, wash out with Nutregena then start again. I promise you’ll get better and your child will stop crying. Hair washing and combing is bonding time between parent and child. I have more tips but this is a start for new parents at a loss for what to do with different curl patterns. My story: My mother was old-school licensed beautician as they were called in her day. She would wash and towel dry my hair then take a narrow comb and proceeds to rip my hair out trying to comb it like her 4c hair. Then she would use a liquid oil to smooth my hair. That was the good part. Then she would get a fire heated straightening comb with the petroleum based “grease” and melt that grease and hair together so that it was manageable for her. One night she was tired of our hair battles sand she cut off my hair. I was horrified. I went natural about age 52 and am still learning to love my curls. I was almost age 60 before I discovered that my hair would grow longer if I quit brushing it every day. That story about 100 stroke with a brush is a lie for curly hair. I use this style brush from ends to roots and ONLY with a conditioner or oil on it - never on raw freshly shampooed hair. Well - I have used it in the shower using running water only as a natural detangler but again, the water protects the hair and lets the brush slide through the hair. Answer:	My daughter is black and white. So she has some Caucasian loose curls and tight curls. I had no use for the spray. It smelled horrible and didn't work to get her hair combed out. The leave in I don't use either because it didn't do anything for her hair to keep the curls nice. I do use the shampoo and conditioner. They're very light on her scalp and hair but it doesn't do anything to provide moisture. So I personally won't buy them again when the shampoo and conditioner are gone. I was wanting something that was light but moisturizing on her hair and it doesn't work for my daughter. It doesn't mean that it won't work for your son. All hair types are different and respond differently to different products. So it's up to you.
