Answer:	Put it directly on the scalp for new hair growth. I saw a friend use it for this. I haven’t used it for this but I can tell you as a yogi that putting oil on the scalp has its own benefits and is done regularly as a part of a practice called abhyanga. One thing about it is that your hair will still be oily after shampooing. My teacher taught me that the trick to getting the oil out is to add shampoo **while hair has no water in it.** Massage shampoo into hair very well *before* adding water. Some say to shampoo twice but I can’t say if the second shampoo actually helps, because I’ve heard that the water somehow interferes with it. I don’t know if it was my shampoo to blame, but I’ve found my hair still is oily afterwards (using sesame oil, but I imagine it would be similar), or maybe I didn’t massage the shampoo in enough. Anyway, I pass that along, because my teacher was emphatic about shampooing directly onto the oil, without water in the way, to get it to act on the oil, before adding water. She oils her hair regularly, so I believe her, even though I’ve only tried her solution once.

Question:	how often do you have to use the product in order for it to work
Answer:	I am mixing the Castor oil with another carrier oil before I put it in my hair. If you don't do this it will be very difficult to shampoo out. A good carrier oil is Almond oil, olive oil, coconut oil. Mix 50/50. Then it will wash out in the morning very easily. When I want to put this on my skin, I will use it directly from the bottle and apply it to my eyelashes, eyebrows, and if I have very dry spots. I made a solution of 1/3 rd Castor Oil, 2/3 rd Almond oil, and a few drops of Lemon essential 100% undiluted oil. I use this on my legs because they were badly bruised and the bruises have healed but I was left with dark pigmentation. Since using this combo, my pigmentation is slowly lightening and my skin has never been so soft.
Question:	Are these oils actually organic? They are not listed as so but the brand name uses the word organic. I like the oil, the label is misleading though
Answer:	According to the labels it is everything except organic. The brand has the word organics, like you said but the oil does not come from organic seeds.

Answer:	That's wonderful to great about the good results. It's certainly possible-- castor oil is pretty amazing and helped me with my hair and brows. However, I would highly recommend using actual organic oil, which this product apparently isn't, since the oil can penetrate the skin and lymphs.

Answer:	Yes, the JBC does have an ashy smell to it from the roasting of the bean as well as the ash that is naturally in the product which raises the Ph to assist in the healthy hair growth. We do offer the lavender and coconut flavors as an option to try to eliminate that odor. I do have some customers that also add their own essential oils as a fragrance as well.

Answer:	Smells like stale cigarette smoke or an ash tray. Will not buy again. I couldn’t figure out what was causing the smell for months and it was very obnoxious. One day, I got a wiff just as I was applying it and then smelled the applicator and all of the bottles. It was definitely the product and I immediately threw it away. Gross.
