Answer:	Yes, the JBC does have an ashy smell to it from the roasting of the bean as well as the ash that is naturally in the product which raises the Ph to assist in the healthy hair growth. We do offer the lavender and coconut flavors as an option to try to eliminate that odor. I do have some customers that also add their own essential oils as a fragrance as well.

Answer:	I am 41 had very long hair, thin, bad perm and I am also caucasian. This product has worked for me. My hair was alot shorter then I have ever had it. Since I have bought this product and used it my hair has grown over 2 inches. Which for me is GREAT! I also put the product on my fingertips not in the palm of my hand. Question:	I noticed all races excpt for caucasions - Is the ingredients too harsh? If not I would like to try to grow back my crown and temple areas
Answer:	I am caucasian and as a treatment it definitely seems to help grow back patches of 'dying' hair while enhancing the body and texture of my hair overall. As a caucasian, though, you will probably NOT want to go to work or be seen in public with the oil still applied. WAAAY too oily, so it will make you look ridiculous at best. For obvious reasons, anyone with African ancestry could get away with this. There is a simple work-around in any case: I simply apply it at night, maybe two or three nights a week, then shampoo it out in the morning. It takes me two shampooings to wash it out completely. But the effect remains. An excellent product I think. Just as a side-note, I couldn't help but chuckle at the words of one of the earlier answers here: "race is just a social construct" they wrote, so they say it's not a factor to consider. That is such an absurd statement that I can only stand back in awe at the power of politically correct programming. Racial genetics dictate not just the shape of your hair, but the very structure and shape of your skull. You only need your eyes to prove that...! :-) For heaven's sake, think for yourself.

Answer:	I don't think it's advisable for fine straight hair. It's very greasy, almost too much for me, I have course African hair. It also smells really bad, I generally have to shampoo every time I attempt to use it.

Question:	Does anyone know if this product helps alopecia
Answer:	I had to look up what Alopecia means and what it says on WebMD is this: https://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/guide/alopecia-areata#1. Those are the cures available, therefore I doubt if this quite plain oil can help you grow hair. It might help to make your scalp smooth and soft but it is definitely not to be used as a medical therapy.
