Answer:	I have both the curl smoothie and styling milk cream. The difference for me has been I can apply the styling milk to my wet hair. As for the Smoothie, it is thicker and I can apply to hair while it is dry. The curl smoothie says that you can apply it to dry or wet hair but for me when I applied it to my wet hair it turned my hair white and it took a while to work into my hair. I prefer to use the styling milk it works best for my hair type. Controls the frizz and tames my curls. I really like this brand it really works well and smells amazing. I hope this helps you.

Answer:	Honestly to me, this stuff smells like skittles. It works and hey, I don't mind my hair smelling a little like candy.

Answer:	i use it to get curls. I you apply it to all your strand of hair you will not have any frizz and you can easily style it. My hair puffs also if I do not use something, however I do not have extremely curly hair just want the curls.

Answer:	I use them together. The styling cream is a must, but the light defining gel just adds a little more texture to it. I usually put the style cream on first then the gel then towel dry. Then add more style cream and style (blow dry with diffuser)

My suggestion would be to do what they do in the movies: cut some of the face off of the mask, so that the hockey mask will sit on your son's real face. Answer:	Yes, it's sulfate free. Sulfates are usually used in shampoos or as surfactants or emulsifiers. This product is sulfate free and Curly Girl method approved if you follow that. :) The silicone used in this product is water soluble (if you are a no/low-poo person) as well. You can google "is it curly girl" and there are websites that let you copy and past the ingredient list of products, and they will tell you what they stuff in them is and what to watch out for. Question:	I’m a guy trying to learn lol. My hair’s fine & wavy, use the defining cream for curls but still frizz. Advice for which one when my hair’s drying
Answer:	Frizz can signal any number if things and not just product. Since you're learning, first figure out your hair porosity, from there you will be able to figure out what your hair wants - what it needs. To do this just Google: Hair Porosity Test, which basically involves a quick test, floating a piece of CLEAN (no product since product coating on a hair will alter results) dry hair (retrieve a strand from shower floor - let it dry) in a cup of water. Your hair porosity will be either low, medium or high. From there you can determine if your hair requires just moisturizers but no protein coating product or mostly moisturizing product but could benefit from the occasional protein treatment or your hair craves mostly protein based product but easy on the essential oils and moisturizers. Another strand test to give you this information is an Elasticity Test. Again, Google and start reading! I personally have medium-high porosity hair so my thick, 3a curls absolutely FREAK if I use protein based shampoos, stylers or anything. Not knowing this most of my life gave me cabinets loaded down with product that 'didn't work' but I never understood why. Like most people, I chalked it up to the alcohol. Now I know that it's the added undistilled protein that made my hair wonky & frizzy, and it didn't matter what well-meaning, trusted company made the product or how many people swear by it or IG it with a perfect selfie! This defining cream you tried mentions it's for all curl types and texture but notice it doesn't tell you for what porosity type - and that is where it matters, what the results will actually be. Naturally curly dot com has great articles to help people figure this all out as well as protein types (distilled vs undistilled coconut) and reading labels. For towel, get a few microfiber towels for hair and never again use anything else to dry your hair. When you dry, use the towel to squeeze/press water out. Don't rub it around your head like you just bathed the dog 😉. Another thing you may want to try is put your leave-in conditioner (if your hair needs it) followed by styling product(s) of choice while your hair is still dripping wet. As soon as you shut off the shower, give your hair a light squeeze with that new towel just to keep the runoff, the water drops back then dry the rest of you. When you start grabbing product, going through your routine of deodorant and so on, get that product on your hair, don't let so much as a single strand air dry. If it does start to dry for whatever reason, rewet it and this is why every curly keeps a spray bottle of water on hand. My hair is so moisture craved, I have to get my stylers in when my hair is drenched. If my hair starts to dry ever so slightly before I get to it and I put product in with my hair like that, it will be frizzy no matter what perfectly suited product I'm using. But if my hair has started to dry then I spray bottle my hair back down to dripping wet, gently squeeze the dripping excess, put in my product, it's like magic - no frizz! Next tip: look up on Amazon or Sallys beauty Supply and get a Denman brush. You said you have fine hair so you'll want a 7 row Denman brush with removable rows. Then look up on you tube, how to use a Denman brush on curly wavy hair. It'll change your life👍 Lastly and the most important but often most difficult, after you've done all of that, your product is in, you've brushed, scrunched and its done: DO. NOT. TOUCH. IT. or tie it back or sit in front of a fan to get it dried faster or go for a bike ride - all of this is inviting frizz. Let your hair take it from there. It's a good time to go watch an old movie, preferably one in which a girl is on the phone and says: "You mean this Friday? Oh I don't know, Bobby. I don't think I can go on Friday night. Answer:	The length of time depends on how long you allow the twists to stay in before un-twisting. I usually twist my daughter's hair and allow it to stay like that for about a week and once un-twisted she gets about 3-5 more days of a beautiful twist out look. The length of time depends on her overnight care. Also the drier the hair after twisting, determines the hold. You can create the desired look.

Answer:	Yeah it kind of scares me that it doesn’t have a seal, but it has an expiration date!???
Question:	What type of curly hair is this the best for? I personally have 2c-3b curly hair, so will this product weigh my hair down
Answer:	The activator cream definitely gives life to your curls. It's pretty thick, texture wise. This curling cream is good too but very creamy and heavy. I like the cantu gel cream cuz it seems to go on a lil lighter and holds my curls really nice. Yes I've tried all 3. They all work well, just gotta figure which would be best for your hair type. I use all of them between myself and my daughter. They are great for our curls.
Question:	What are ALL the ingredients in this
Answer:	I would experiment with the amount you use so that you don’t weigh your hair down with too much. A friend of mine with wavy hair mixes her Cantu with water and uses it regularly.
