Answer:	I do professional sharpening and I would not trust those responses saying they are doing 25-30 cuts a day and haven't sharpened them in over a year. If you look at high quality shears they list the Rockwell Hardness Scale (RHC) which is a scale, and the higher the number, the more durable the edge and the better edge retention you will have. For instance, look at the Shark Fin lines of shears. The Silver Line has a RHC of 55-56, the Gold Line has an RHC of 57-58, their Platinum Line is RHC 59-60, and their Double Shark Medalist is RHC 60-61. A higher RHC number means stronger metal and better edge retention, and they say these shears are RHC of 61. Do you really think you can match a $600-$650 set of shears with a $19 pair? If you look through the reviews you'll see several stylist have complained that these shears are sharp when you get them (unless you get a used pair as many people say they did while paying for the NEW price. Many others complained that although they were sharp the first or second day, people using them every day for multiple cuttings were saying these were dull in as little as a day to as much as a couple of weeks. If these were truly RHC 61, they would not dull so quickly. This entire response is just my personal opinion, but I feel like a lot of the information in the advertisement for these shears are false advertisement. Sharp shears with a hardness rating of 61 should remain sharp much longer than a few days to a few weeks, but even high end shears with high quality metal will not be able to go a year doing 25-30 haircuts a day if stylists are properly caring for their shears.

Question:	How long are the scissors overall and how long is the actual cutting blade
Answer:	Your size 13 ring finger is sized up close to your palm. However, your fingers are tapered, not size 13 the entire length of the finger. If they are, that's a problem and I would not buy these scissors But, I really don't believe that there will be a problem.

Answer:	My fingers are medium fat, and they work for me. I will say that these scissors are VERY sharp.

Answer:	I wear a ring size 8 and they are fine for me but the holes are not all that large. I use just finger tips in the scissor holes though. There are black pliable pieces in the holes that can be removed to make them a little bit larger. I measured the scissor hole with the liner piece removed and the tape measure showed approximately 3 and 1/2 inches. The holes are also a little off round or egg shaped. I just measured with micrometer. the hole without the finger rest is approximately .99 inches by .89 inches and the other hole is .985 inches by .84 inches without the liners this is widest and narrowest measures at least very close. Question:	Anyone using this shear feel the blades to be too short for the length? Looking at them, seems the blade constitutes less than 50% of the total length
Answer:	The handle is very smooth. The way the handle is designed, it seems to give more power through blades. This pair has 5 1/2 inch blades but a 6” blade is available if you want more length.
Question:	Are these shears lightweight
Answer:	These shears aren’t extra heavy. They are a lightweight shear: I’ve been a hairdresser 25 years. They are lighter than the average Japanese shear.
Question:	Can these shears be sharpened
Answer:	Yes, once our diamond point edge wears out, most professional sharpeners grind the edge to a standard japanese convex edge. There has been no issues from sharpeners when it is time to hone these back to sharpness.
