The side with the largest amount of blade showing removes more hair than the shorter blade exposure side. play with it and you will get the hang of it shortly. changing the blades is a simple task that you can see easily. loosen the locks, open the comb , remove old blades and reattach comb and close the locks

Answer:	Yes, That was the reason I got this item. It works ok - but could work better! but over all it does work. The cat has other ideas about sitting still for the mat removal - electric clippers are out of the question, so this is the best working solution, for now.

Answer:	My hair has a natural curl. I use it to trim and thin out my hair. There are two sides to the blade and one cuts more than the other so until you get us d to it, I would recommend starting with the blade that cuts less. I have no idea about split ends and you would probably be better off with scissors for the split ends. But I love this product; it works well for me.

Question:	can you trim your beard
Answer:	I actually bought this specifically for my beard after a long series of fancy/shmancy cordless ones that just weren't powerful enough to get the job done. I trim to 1.5-2 mm over the weekend and let it grow till the next. All the cordless ones could 'shave' with no attachments alright, but any attachments were gimmicky for coarser facial hair combined with the weak motor. This one works great and only takes a couple of minutes for an even trim. The finishing is alright for a 20 bucks clipper.
Question:	Can it apply to Afro curl hair
Answer:	I'm African. I bought it and found it fit my hair very well. I like it so much. I also bought a hair sponge brush. After cutting hair, I made hair styling with it . perfect. Question:	are the blades replaceable and if so what is the # of the blade
Answer:	I replaced the blades with blade model 1045-100. They fit perfectly and were easy to put on the trimmers. They are listed as "WAHL Professional 2 Hole Precision Clipper Blade" and are available through Amazon.
Question:	Can i use this on trimming my dog's hair
Answer:	My dog's hair is very thick, and it jams up the clipper. I have to unclog it after 2-3 passes through the thickest parts. Doesn't work at all on his legs and tummy, just flattens the hair out. Works fine on my human hair, though.
