Question:	What are the differences among Wahl's 9899-016,9899-100,9899-800 and 9899-804 groomer models
Answer:	There are two trimmer combs. One has a 1/4 inch (6mm) wide cutting surface, and the second one has a 1-3/8 inch (3.5 cm) cutting surface. The actual width of both combs is slightly wider, but those are the actual cutting widths. Hope that helps.
Question:	what is a detailing blade
Answer:	No. It will not operate with the charger cord connected, whether the charger is connected to power or not. It is designed not to work with anything connected to the charging port. The trimmer comes with a "travel plug" that is a small piece of plastic that can be plugged into the charging connector that will keep the trimmer from being turned on accidentally during travel.I've had my trimmer for about 3 months. I use it a couple times a week for a couple minutes. I have not had to recharge it since the initial charge I gave it when I bought it.

Answer:	You can change the length of the cut based on the direction you use it. If you go with the hair grain, it will leave the length a bit longer than when you go against it. There is very little difference between using the #1 with the grain of the hair and the #2 going against the grain.
Question:	new or used? i see many complaints with hair on new machines
Answer:	Mine won't turn on most of the time. I keep trying over a day or so and suddenly it's on and I can use it. What's the point of paying to send it back to the USA from NZ when the risk is I'll get as a replacement one of the ones that don't turn off. The paperweight comment sums it up. There are far too many faulty ones out there just from the complaints on this site alone. In the 21C you expect nearly all examples of a product to work faultlessly and they do. But not this product.

Answer:	...okay. This is not an easy answer and...wow. I'm going to give you what I found. Almost nothing. 016 is the current one, 100 is the older one, and 800 and 804 are the ones sold in the UK with the 804 having the newest parts that the US doesn't have. How did you come up with this question?

Answer:	It's a smaller (narrower) version of the main clipper blade that you can use to shape areas like sideburns, mustache, beard lines, etc. In the photo of all the attachments, it's the second from the top, closest to the trimmer.

Answer:	Not sure what you are referring to. Feel free to contact Wahl at [email protected]. Most cases of "hair" of our units can be attributed to shavings from the blade guard that is attached to the clipper blades for protection. During shipment, the blade can rub against the blade guard creating shavings that may be mistaken for hair. In addition, during our normal quality assurance checks, we do a cutting test using rope material. Every effort is made to remove all fibers but some may remain. However, these are not harmful or are not used hair.

Answer:	I have several tips, apply the ones that are germane to your situation: 1. Lubricant: I have found the best lubricant is hair conditioner - its cheaper than a decent shaving cream or shaving butter, and it works great for body grooming. 2. Shower with your girl, and you can shave each other (if you have the skill or is she is an extremely trusting person. It's not as easy as you thing to get a landing strip perfectly straight and even.), This can be a nice pre-foreplay activity. She will definitely do a good job for you as she is a major benefactor when the "lower" man-scaping is done well - which hopefully results in you being the ultimate benefactor. 3. Read the helpful man-scaping advice on the Philips Norelco website There is also plenty on YouTube as well. 4. If you do happen to nick yourself in that area, make sure you give it time to heal before any activity in that area, whether it bleeds or not, it is more susceptible to STD's, etc., As always, safety first. And like most tasks, having the right tool for the job is critical to producing professional results. Purchasing the Philips Norelco Bodygroom Series 7000 (or 7100), should all but eliminate the chance of any man-grooming miscues. Answer:	It works fine. You would have to shave very aggressively to harm yourself. The previous models would cut you.

Answer:	This shaver is the best in the ball area. I've owned the older version of this for a couple years until the battery couldn't go anymore. This shaver doesn't snag at all. You can go across the skinny even when it's at it's flabbiest and not get a snag. I highly recommend this product for the sack. Works good for butt hairs too.

Answer:	I store it and use it physically in the shower and it works fine. But I don’t actually use it under running water (why would you?) and the place I store it in the shower doesn’t have water falling on it all the time. I like the convenience and neatness (no bristles in the wash) of using it in the shower and cleaning it right there.

Answer:	I haven't used the Norelco 3000, but this trimmer is great for body hair. Its body hair blade and attachments make it a breeze, you can use it on any area without issue.
Question:	Is there an option to purchase a replacement trimmer head
Answer:	There are different sets of guards . The guards are not stamped with the sizes but there is a chart in the paperwork. The paperwork says the beard guards run from 1,2,3,5,&7 mm , then hair guards of 4,9,12,& 16mm, then body guards of 3 & 5 mm. Hope this helps
