Question:	To clarify: this set contains all the pieces i need to replace the dull blades on my wahl senior? kind thanks
Answer:	Has the "top" and "bottom" blades along with the extra Screws and Stuff. You probably shouldn't need to touch the two smaller screws as those deal with blade alignment, so the only "loose screw" you'd be dealing with is the larger (center) screw. And you'd only need the one that ships in this package if you lost/damaged/ate the one that came off your Clipper. You will of course need a decent phillips head screwdriver, and maybe a small brush to clear away any "debris" (hair) after you lift off the old blades. Just noticed that the item description doesn't show the BACK of the item, where all these "extras" are plainly visible. (will try to add a picture)

I believe the description on the blade set says it works on the Wahl Designer. That's what I used when ordering this blade set. Like you, I do not see a serial number on the clipper.

Answer:	It seems the C.A.R.B. compliance has an unfortunate side effect of letting the engine run much too lean to function properly. My fix for the sputtering engine? I took a rotary tool with a 1 and 1/4 inch cutoff disc to expose the idle and wide-open-throttle carburetor adjustment screws on the carburetor itself, cutting 1/8 of an inch at a time until I was able to nick a flathead screwdriver slot into both screws and adjust them accordingly. Now it idles fine and never sputters when suddenly opened to WOT to start cutting brush and grass, my 2 cents on the matter.

Give this crystal to the nearest gelfling, you can usually find one by a los pollos, and they will employ snuffalufacus to come fix the problem. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Not to bald. Only shavers or a razor will cut that close. However, they cut shorter than most clippers do and slightly longer than a trimmer

Answer:	I have not purchased cordless #8489 nor has seen this on Amazon online. But for cordless wahl hair clippers #8591(black Designer) and #8148 (Magic Clip) which I purchased from Amazon, first the price, the Designer is cheaper ($71.25) than Magic Clip ($83.46) excluding the shipping fee. The other one is that the Designer's blade has 3 holes while Magic Clip has 2 holes. Their blades are different. But these two hair clippers are really great in terms of performance. I really like both of these clippers. I never regret buying them.

Answer:	I have not used the cordless magic clip, but I love these cordless clippers. I am a men's hair stylist, and cut around 15-20 clients hair a day. They cut well, and are super light weight. You do have to plug the cord in after your 3rd client, or it will die on you. Hope this helps!

Sterling 9 is similar to the Icon or Senior & has the standard blade which is good for all around cutting. Either is a great choice it really depends upon the type of hair your cutting. 5 star blades are sharper for ethnic hair
