You will have to take time with them, though, catching the outer hairs, working inwards, as they're not scizzor sharp, like ones the barber's use.But I wouldn't be without them. Answer:	I use it to trim the hair that grows between my dog's paw pads. I run it even to the paw pad. Years ago they didn't like it at first, so what I did at first was let them smell it ( which I still do) then touch their paw pads with the level part of the trimmer so they knew what it felt like. After doing that everyday for a week, I moved to turning it on for short bursts and letting them feel the vibrations of the trimmer gently against the paw pads. Once they were totally relaxed I would do one paw a day. Now I do all four paws in five minutes. As far as your cat it depends on how skittish she/he is. The product works well, its just a matter of getting your cat used to the trimmer. If you can get beyond that I think it will do a good job of trimming the hair around you cat's butt.

It was just last month I had to place a piece of tape around it because it began to make noise, but never any vibration and no noise since putting the tape... Amazon will have a brand new one to you in just days. Sooner if you're a Prime member. At the low price it's basically a disposable-buy a new one if you don't want to try something else if it's older than 2 years. Be fair, don't cheat!

Answer:	Without having a "face-to-face" comparison, it would be hard to tell. My beard is fairly heavy. This moosoo shaver is very comfortable, shaves quickly and smoothly--for me. It's much quieter than my Braun and shaves better. the most impressive feature is the disinfect function, which disinfects the shaver when it is in the holder at the push of a button.However, I'm concerned that there is no information that I've found about replacing the heads when needed. But the comfort, quietness and quick, smooth shave are worth it to me at this point.
