Answer:	Yes, it is a pump type spray and not a pressurized spray. The nozzle can be removed from the bottle and the nozzle does not have a stem. Coming out of the top of the bottle is a well protected stem upon which the nozzle is inserted. I cannot imagine an accidental breakage of the stem. It is held onto to bottle itself with a gold colored metal type collar. I have tried to remove this collar to reuse the bottle but to no avail.
