2 best revlon paraffin waxs
Revlon offers paraffin wax products that are designed for use in paraffin baths, commonly used in hand and foot care routines. Paraffin wax treatments can provide therapeutic benefits for the skin, making them a popular choice for individuals seeking to improve the condition of their hands and feet. Here's what you can expect from Revlon paraffin wax products:
Paraffin Baths: Revlon's paraffin wax is typically intended for use in paraffin baths or wax heaters. Paraffin baths are specialized devices that melt the wax to a comfortable temperature, allowing for a soothing and therapeutic treatment.
Hand and Foot Care: Paraffin wax treatments are particularly beneficial for the hands and feet. They can help moisturize and soften dry, rough skin, making them an excellent choice for individuals dealing with issues like dry or cracked hands and heels.
Moisturization: The warm paraffin wax creates a barrier on the skin's surface, trapping moisture and allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin. This helps to hydrate the skin, leaving it feeling softer and more supple.
Pain Relief: Paraffin wax treatments can also provide relief from joint and muscle pain, making them popular for individuals with conditions like arthritis. The heat from the wax can help alleviate discomfort and improve circulation in the treated areas.
Therapeutic Benefits: In addition to moisturization and pain relief, some Revlon paraffin wax products may contain additional ingredients such as essential oils or aromatics for added therapeutic benefits and a pleasant spa-like experience.
Ease of Use: Revlon's paraffin wax products are typically easy to use, with clear instructions provided on the packaging. You melt the wax in the paraffin bath, dip your hands or feet into the warm liquid wax, and then wrap them in plastic bags and warm mitts or booties to seal in the heat.
Accessibility: Revlon's products are often available at drugstores, making them accessible to a wide range of consumers who want to enjoy the benefits of paraffin wax treatments at home.
It's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for using paraffin wax products safely.Be sure to clean and dry your skin thoroughly before the treatment, and avoid using the wax on broken or irritated skin. If you have any specific skin conditions or concerns, it's advisable to consult with a dermatologist or healthcare professional before starting a paraffin wax treatment regimen.

User questions & answers
Question: | For candles |
Answer: | I have only used the tinted - I burn very easy, and in California, playing golf and out doors alot - I use Solbar Zinc right out of shower and than aftbsorbed I put the tinted sun screen over (my doctor sujested this combo) I do not use a fondation, as it is to hot, just use the 2 sun screens and I am good. I also use a spray childrens sun screen that I put on in the garage - Like I said I burn and am out doors almost every day, was 97 today and we played golf! |
Question: | Can i use paraffin wax i buy at walmart or do i have to use the revlon wax. it is very costly |
Answer: | I'm not a Dr. but the product states it has SPF 30. It was recommended by my aesthetician. She has clients that use it as a primer to even skin tone and as a SPF under their foundation. I use it that way as well and when I don't want to wear any foundation on the weekends. When I use the product I don't apply another moisturizer with SPF and it works fine for me. |
Question: | Does the wax contain aloe vera |
Answer: | If its just a normal day where I'm only outside on my commute or at lunch I just apply it once in the morning. If I was going to be outside all day or at the beach or something I would apply every hour or two. Mineral sunscreen degrades in the sun, so if you aren't in the sun all day it lasts, but if you are you need to reapply more often. |
Question: | Can this wax be reused |
Answer: | I am light skinned with blonde hair and it's fine for me. It's tinted, but seems to kinda fade after letting it set for about 10-15 mins. It is pretty sheer, and I really don't think you need but a little bit and just blot it on (and let it dry.) What I like about it is it acts like a primer. I think you'd probably be okay with it, but it is kinda pricey to guess. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Would it be good for hands as welll as feet |
Answer: | Yes it is good for hands.. I bought this to use for my hands, but before I set it up I put my foot in to see if it would fit. My foot did fit, but I wear about a size 61/2. This is great for my hands. It does heat in about 2 hours. I find mine heats in just under 2 hours. |
Question: | Can you fit both hands in it at one time |
Answer: | No, there is no reason to put both hands in at once. You dip each hand 5-7 times, depending on how thick the wax you're using , and you put it in the plastic then the mitt. |
Question: | I need the level of the wax to go about 1-2 inches above the position of a watch . The warmth is for my wrist -- will this unit be deep enough |
Answer: | I needed the same thing because as a Lmt, my wrists take a lot of abuse. I don't have big arms or hands. But the unit was still not deep enough. We both need something where we can put our hands in from the top of the unit rather than the side of the unit. The bigger units which contain about 6 pounds of wax should do the trick. While it is true that you could cover your wrist if 1) there is an ample supply of wax, 2) you use a metal cup to scoop the wax onto your wrist 3) submerge the hand/wrist at a weird angle to make it work, and 4) keep dipping and turning your hand over a few times -- all of this extra effort isn't worth it. Soaking our hands/wrists should be hassle free, but with this unit it is not. Update: I returned the unit and within two days, my cc account has been refunded. Amazon has always been great to me when it comes to returns, which I don't do often. I am very grateful for Amazon's awesome return policy. Thank you Amazon. |
Question: | I have women's US size 10 foot. would these fit? also, can you use natural beeswax in unit? I have plenty due to beekeeping! thanks |
Answer: | Unfortunately a size 10 won't fit in this unit, you would have to do heels and then toes. Beeswax should work without a problem, I use the wax for canning and just add the liquid oil like jasmine or honeysuckle for a nice fragrance.Canning wax does the trick for a fourth of the price! |
