| Answer: | I should note that potassium hydroxide is quite caustic...slightly less so than sodium hydroxide, which most people know as lye, and if you're a stickler, potassium hydroxide historically used to also be called lye. I have a spot on a pinkie where I let a drop of liquid lye set for awhile, while making soap, and it ate clear thru the living skin. It healed, but it will never be pigmented again. So as a chemist, I urge you all to use this product with lots of caution, and follow the directions to a T. I'll be buying this product, and reviewing it after use. |
