This ingredient is very high listed on the ingredient list meaning the ingredients are listed in order of predominance, with the ingredients used in the greatest amount first, followed in descending order by those in smaller amounts This is why phenoxyethanol is bad- see below- NOW there are natural Preservatives thay could be used and this dove soap act contains that one as well and it’s sodium benzonate ( think I may have miss spelt that) I still don’t understand why they use two preservatives- one completely toxic and one natural phenoxyethanol is actually very harmful. It is harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin, especially to nursing mothers or infants. Phenoxyethanol can have an effect on the brain and the central nervous system.

Answer:	I've yet to find a dry shampoo that doesn't leave a white residue - unless you do it the right way. I'm sure this will seem like a lot of work, but it's worth it. I spray my hair with this as soon as I get up. Make sure to shake the bottle well. And spray just the roots and the little bit of hair at the root end. Generally that's where the oil is! Spray in sections making sure even to get the back. Then leave it in there and go eat or get dressed and do your makeup. Leave it 30 mins if you can. The brush through it good and hit it with the hairdryer. I find this allows the oil to get soaked up with plenty of time, then it lets go and Leave s the hair looking good!

Interesting, I had not noticed but the small print does seem to address European Countries (UK, IE. IT etc) and the volume is measured in Metric as you mention (ml) so must be from Europe. Almost finished first can. Smells the same and seems to work the same. I have not seen the Sandalwood version in stores here in the US lately which is what led me to Amazon. Maybe they have discontinued it for US Market?
