Answer:	They can’t roll out. They would have to climb out. Had it for my 2 year old great grandson for 5 days and he liked it. He felt cozy in it.

Answer:	Yes. It will fit a foreign a half year-old very nicely. I lay in it with my daughter and together we fit in it just fine.

Answer:	It's not a one-piece mattress. It's two 2" thick foam pieces (19"x19") which is the only way the "bed" can be folded up as shown. The foam pieces are removable. They're attached to the "frame" by velcro and each has a velour type zippered cover.
Question:	Has anyone used the Shrunks travel bed? It looks the same, but i am curious about whats different and better/worse
Answer:	Might be better for a child who is already sleeping in a "big kid bed" and knows they are supposed to stay in it. We use it for our great-grandson one day a week; he's not quite crawling. Also, we just sit there and watch him sleep so he can't sneak out! His parents borrowed it for a road trip and it worked ok, but again, he's not yet very mobile.

Answer:	We could smell the plastic smell right when it came out of the box, but it didn't last very long at all. I didn't notice the smell after the bed had been out of the box a few hours. It's not a problem.

Answer:	Yes I think you could put it in checked baggage depending on what else you were packing in that suitcase. The smallest I got it folded up to was 16" L x 10" W x 8" Tall and it weighs about 9lbs.
Question:	Does it have the strip in the middle for support? Is it uncomfortable
Answer:	I borrowed a Shrunks bed from a friend before purchasing the Intex. At the time, my son was 18 months old and too big for the pack n' play. In the Shrunks bed, he kept scooting out of the top because the bumpers are only on the sides. The Shrunks bed does fold down a bit smaller than the Intex and does have an electric pump, but I couldn't justify the price difference (shop around, I got the Intex for about $35 at Walmart). The Intex vinyl seems thicker than the Shrunks, it has bumpers on all 4 sides, and the mattress comes out which makes changing sheets easier (and means that when your child doesn't need the bumpers any more you can just take the mattress). I typically use an electric pump that have for another mattress to blow it up and it goes quickly; I've had to use the manual pump once and it does take some time to blow up. We've used the Intex for more than a half-dozen trips in the past year and it's held up great. I'd definitely buy another.

Answer:	Not sure but I would write to the company we had an issue and they sent us a whole new one right away and haven’t had any issues since.

Answer:	I don't think anyone can answer this question based on the information you gave. It isn't necessarily about the weight of a kid but more importantly, the height of your kid. If your child can sleep in a crib sized mattress comfortably, then yes. If they are too big, then no.
Question:	Is it okay for my 16 month old to use it
Answer:	I think 15 months is too young for this. They will be able to crawl out and I think there is a chance they could get stuck between the inflated sides and the inflated mattress. I use this when my 2+ year old grandson visits and he is accustomed to sleeping in a Toddler bed.

Answer:	I have 2 rats and it took the more ambitious one about 6 months to realize she could jump high enough to grab the top of the fence to climb over. That being said if your rats are less industrious this should work for them.

Question:	Suggestions to waterproof this item for toddler sleeping
Answer:	I'm not sure what the temperature/wind chill is but we took baby out for long walks (hours) when she was 4 months old in windy 30-40 degree weather. We made sure she was dressed warmly, then wrapped a blanket around the carrier and then wrapped the cover around her. Hope this helps.
Question:	Is a cover available for purchase
Answer:	The top of the cover is held on by loops that go around the buckles on the upper arm straps on the bjorn. I have both carriers and I'm not sure how you'd go about fastening it to the ergo - never tried it, but since there isn't a buckle on the top of the arm straps of the ergo, there'd be no way to keep it attached. Just my thoughts .... good luck! When used with a bjorn it is a great cover!
