Answer:	I was skeptical about these but I just cut two of my standard schnauzers with these and they cut through their coarse fur like butter and also handled all the mattes on them.. granted they werent like rescue dogs with hard mattes, it had no problem.. I was surprised.. my 200$ Wahl clippers that were 10+ years old died and this one was the price of a blade for the Wahl!
