So all I'm saying is that the back support really does make a difference if you are a woman. My wife has been using it still, but her lower back hurts because she can't carry her in her arms all day. It is adjustable in all the places I need it, and I have no problem getting enough strap extension. It's my favorite (of 6*, sadly, and most way more expensive, argh). My husband prefers the Infantino Newborn Unison because it has straps that cross in the back, and its stretchy fabric feels super comfortable and... maternal/paternal somehow - and holds the baby closer to the body than any of the others (our kid pushes back a lot). The biggest worry is that eventually the Convertible's thin strap padding (come on, at this price point, something has to be less than perfect!) will wear out - but I found a backpack strap wrap for extra padding, so this is still top for me. *Baby Ktan, Onya Outback, a water moby-like wrap, Infantino Mei Tai, the 2 listed above, and I tried a friend's Ergobaby |

| Answer: | I don't have outdoor experience with either, but I'm sitting here with BOTH the Adapt and Complete and have extensive experience with Ergo in general. The Complete has more features for sure (like front facing, added lumbar support, and a little tiny), but honestly I just keep going back to the Ergo. I'm buying the Adapt Air Mesh to have a one-size-fits-all carrier that's as lightweight and as cool as possible, and I think it's a half pound lighter than the Complete (even on the specs sheet). It's simply easier to stuff into another bag or the bottom storage of a stroller. While the lumbar support on the Complete is big and removable I found it HOT just trying on at home. The Ergo lumbar support is built in and just the right size. It also doesn't move on you. The Complete has a really handy pouch, but it's also made of mesh, so you really only fit your small keys and wallet. You can purchase an accessory pouch for the Ergo that can hold keys, wallet, phone, and a diaper that is detachable and attaches easily to the bottom. I'm going to snag one. The Ergo seems to be a little smaller overall, so if you're going to be carrying a 30 pound tall toddler regularly you might swing for the Complete since there's more coverage to disperse weight and the leg area is wider at its widest setting. The complete feels bulky to me every time I put it on. But if you're using the carrier for brand new baby to two I can't see you being disappointed with the Adapt. Sure, you're missing front carry, but that's always been awkward and hard on my back. If baby wants to see out at 6 months hip and back carry are great options and way more comfortable anyway. Both carriers are made incredibly well and got excellent views for good reason. You can't go wrong with either. But if your goal is quick, lightweight, one-size-fits-all, instead of lots of bells and whistles the Adapt is going to be for you. And with Amazon's free returns I suggest just doing what I did and buying both and returning the one you don't want ;-). |

| Answer: | Unfortunately, it depends on what airline you take! It used to meet standards; now they are suggesting new ones, especially for non US-carriers. Check what your airline allows. We bought this because it was one inch smaller than the smallest carry-on we owned. It fit easily in the overhead compartment for our United flight. NOTE: we did not overfill it - it becomes about an inch wider where the zipper is if you can't squeeze it shut. |
