It's a pretty snug fit around the stroller without the car seat attachment- great for keeping them dry and warm, but not big enough to stretch another foot or so out in the front. Joovy does make a head support called the Snugging Go, so you could use that with the rain cover for a little one. Not as convenient, but it would do the job.
