My grand baby is 30 pounds and tries to lean sideways, this type of booster will not take much of that because of the material from which it is made. |

Personally, I would hand wash it using a mild baby detergent and rinse it thoroughly but that is just my opinion. It's a sturdy blanket. They probably don't want the squeeker ruined so maybe washing it in the washer will hurt the squeeker. Other customers have stated that they have washed it in the machine and it is still working fine and still looks good. |

| Answer: | I would love to know if these are PVC free myself. I just received this toy today, and the packaging only says BPA and pthalate free, with no mention of PVC's. I sincerely wish someone from the company would answer your question, as these are so cute, but I am sending them back due to the possibility of containing PVC. They may use pthalate-free PVC (just a guess), but it's to my understanding that that can still be laden with other harmful chemicals. Hope this helps! |
